La Carretas delivered a great meal. The carne asada was flavorful and perfectly seasoned, and the salsas were excellent with fresh, bold taste. The charro beans had great flavor as well, though they could’ve used a bit more cooking time. Packaging for delivery was impressive — everything arrived secure, warm, and well-presented. Overall, a strong experience.
We went on down time so it was practically empty. I had the street enchiladas. I loved them but it was a small portion not worth the price compared to other restaurants. My husband had the taco trio. The tortilla was a good size for the tacos and that was worth the price. The waiter was very good except he got my husband's drink incorrect. Maybe it was so slow that he couldn't pay attention, lol. I really enjoy a nice dinner here. The atmosphere is great! I love sitting in the patio on a nice night. Dinner and drinks are so delicious! Hard to choose from so many great options. The rib eye stake is so soft and cooked to perfection! Recently tried the enchiladas callejeras with the ribeye plate and loved it! To drink I recommend the Strawberry mojito! has a great taste. The place is big so usually there's always little to no wait.
