One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Don’t be fooled by the portion size. The sushi might be big, but that’s about the only positive thing here. I ordered the “5th Element,” which is fried, and it came out tasting like it was cooked in oil that hasn’t been changed in ages. bitter, heavy, and disgusting.
The service was absolutely terrible. From the moment we walked in, no greeting, no welcome, nothing. The waiter looked like she couldn’t care less about being there. Barely spoke, never smiled, and acted like talking to customers was a chore. The atmosphere was painfully awkward because the waiter and the sushi chef were clearly not on good terms; they avoided talking to each other the entire time, which made the whole vibe tense and uncomfortable.
We were the only ones there, yet the food still took around 40 minutes to come out. Drinks took forever too. When we asked for chopsticks and eel sauce, we waited another 10 minutes just for that. The lack of effort and professionalism was unbelievable.
To make things worse, the owner or whoever manages their reviews clearly can’t handle criticism. They only respond to the positive reviews and ignore all the bad ones. That alone tells you how much they care about their customers.
Overall, horrible service, bitter tasting food, and a completely unwelcoming atmosphere. This was our first and definitely last visit. I wish I’d seen the other negative reviews before wasting my time and money here. Save yourself the disappointment there are plenty of better sushi spots that actually value their customers.
