We hadn't visited Marla's in a while and we left there with big smiles and full stomachs. The renovations inside were spectacular. Our chicken & waffles were amazing. All of us ordered it, including a teenager, and he couldn't have been happier with the decision. We look forward to our next visit.

Very decent brunch spot. Went while it wasn't busy so the wait wasn't long. I've driven by during peak hours and the parking lot was busy! Had the benedict eggs with the biscuit and avocado and they were very tasty. The biscuits were soft. The dish also came with very well seasoned potatoes.

Trying it for the first time. The chocolate Abuela is to die for! Biscuits are also a must. The picadillo is phenomenal - the perfect blend of garlic and spices. The only not so great thing were the refried beans - they needed a lot of salt.Other than that, this was definitely a positive experience. otherr mentioned a long wait to get in or for food but we experienced none of that. We went on a Sunday morning when you typically see these places crowded.

We went in a Sunday and did not experience the long wait for food or to be seated. The Mexican hot chocolate is to die for. They add Mexican marshmallows and it gives it this amazing flavor. I tried a biscuit and it was delicious The star of the show in my opinion was the picadillo. Perfect blend of spices, garlic etc.

This was a really great experience. I go the Marla in México and the difference is huge! Its like a whole other place. And the food is delicious. Great service.

1st Time here. Visiting my Mother for her Birthday so she wanted to Go to her favorite restaurant Marla's, here in Laredo, Tx. Real Fancy Danzy, and Really Clean place. Food Plate Presentation is Beautiful with no sloppiness. Food was good and tasty. The only complaint I have is there prices and they need more menu choices. But I will be back.

Portions are small and pricy. Food is bland and not much seasoning. I appreciate the attempt to create something different and unique for Laredo though but I noticed the majority of people left food at the table as if they didn't like the food. Can't help but think that this place needs major improvements with portion sizes and seasoning.

We enjoy their breakfast/brunch menu. All food is made fresh so food wait times are a bit longer but well worth it. The restaurant is short staffed like the whole world is it the moment. Yet, the staff works very well as a team and help each other out. They seem to enjoy their jobs and makes for good customer service.

30 minute wait time for food to arrive at 10am is absurd. But the Chilaquiles Tehuacan are on point and delicious

It was my first time going to Marla's since they revamped their location, and they did an amazing job at it. The food was great, and my daughter can definifely vouch :)

One of the best restaurants i have visited in a long time. With a blend of Mexican and vegan style food, their avacado toast is to die for. Service is quick and price-wise its a steal. 9.5 out of 10

Good prices and portions. Pancakes and waffles are super thick, I prefer them thinner. The flavor is decent, but missing a little something. Chicken that came with the chicken and waffle was a pan fried piece if breast that was seasoned just right. Service was good and the inside is really nice.

We used to love this place, would go or order from them multiple times per week. Since this place went through a remodel, it has completely gone down on service. On multiple occasions, they have messed up our orders. In the latest example, they completely messed up our orders (we ordered all fit omelets but we were given biscuits), I had people waiting in my office for their breakfasts, yet they would not redo the correct order in a timely manner. I do not know what happened to this place. What a disappointment.

I must say Marla’s customer service was way better before all the renovations. Their focus is on aesthetics now and not on their customer service, which is way more impactful. We had a horrible experience a few months ago, we decided to give it another chance a few days ago and service was worse this time around. Ownership must do something about their horrible management (male manager), quick! I high recommend La Finca, customer service is very efficient and the food is delicious!

Rudest nastiest people and service. Complete lack of any organization at all; partial orders brought out while others took another 45 minutes leaving people to eat cold food waiting on their families food to arrive. My food 2 egg & chorizo tacos and 2 egg & potato tacos were delivered two on one plate then 20 minutes later another and 15 minutes later another. Only one person working was even trying to take care of customers and it was the lone waiter in the bunch but Myra was making it very difficult for him. Orders were coming out in parts for almost all customers. When Myra was asked for a manager she laughed in my face and said “he’s not here” in both English and Spanish. When I asked a waiter to speak with manager he sends Myra out. Then Myra wants to claim she doesn’t speak English. Other customers complaining of exact same thing and the staff act like it’s customers fault. Service, food, environment the worst. Do not give them your money.
