The service and quality of work at Primped is top notch! They are professional and use the best products for your hair. I see people complaining about the price being too high but the prices are great. Hair care is an investment. You get what you pay for!

Checked prices and reviews online before going but figured I would give them a shot.Walked in no appointment and the lady behind the desk was on the phone. As soon as she was off of an obvious business call she quickly and courteously addressed my girlfriend and myself.She informed us there was no openings for that day. I asked how much a haircut for her would be and she said $55( their website says $45)So that was an instant no thank you.While I stood there waiting I read their interesting guarantee more like disclaimer where they do not do refunds and you can only get a redo within 24 hours. I'm not sure if there is a lot of people trying to scam free haircuts or if they just really don't stand behind their work.

I just moved to Laredo and I wanted to get my hair cut. I have very curly hair and it requires someone who is comfortable and experienced with curly haircuts. I asked this over the phone when I made the appointment and was assured i could be accommodated. That was not the case. Before the stylist even touched my hair I asked him if he was comfortable cutting hair like mine. I showed him what I wanted and he assured me he could do it. He washed my hair and then started cutting it wet. A stylist who cuts curly hair knows that it will shrink up when it dries. He did not take this into account. To be fair, I asked for it to be cut short but again, I showed him what I was looking for. At one point it looked very good but then he kept cutting. He then started texturizing and I stopped him and said that over texturizing my hair ruined it at one point and he said, "don't worry, it will give the curl definition." I am at fault by this point because I didn't stand up for myself. I know my hair. I've lived with it for 38 years. He texturized all around my head. By this point I couldn't say anything because I knew I was going to cry. He then put in product that smelled like men's product and started drying my hair. He kept running his hands through it and trying to make it do something so it wouldn't look so terrible and I think he knew he messed up by this point. Finally, I couldn't take it any longer and asked him to stop. He tried to show me the back of it but I was getting emotional and just wanted to leave. I paid and the young woman at the front counter tried to tell me it looked fine but it honestly looked like a mans hair cut. It was obvious that he had little to no experience with hair like mine. Ladies...stand up for yourselves. Don't believe that all professionals will be honest about the their skill level.
After reserving an appointment DAYS in advance, had to cancel it because they called me an HOUR before appointment to move the time. Very very unprofessional! Then why even make people book appointments when times are not respected.

I LOOOOVVVEEE THIS SALON! I've been to plenty of shops here in Laredo and they've all disappointed me ! But this shop is the cutest and friendliest shop ever !! Staff is so kind and happy. If I could give it over 5 stars I would . Definitely going to keep coming here !

This place is too pricey for the service that you receive. Being in the location that it is you should get better service for your dollar. You can get the same treatments somewhere else cheaper and possibly even better service from the staff.

Friendly staff! When I first went in I had an idea of what I wanted but wasn’t too sure. Klarissa A. helped me find something that I liked and I trusted her to work her magic. I was in complete awe of the outcome. She listens and definitely works with you. I will definitely go again!

I definitely recommend keratin treatment. I have very processed hair from bleach to box dye and my hair feels like virgin hair all over again. Definitely recommend!
