The locals told me this is the best barbacoa in Laredo and they sure wern't kidding. Incridable chucks of meat/fat soaked in flavor. The word on the street that the barbacoa is prepared the traditional way, cooked in a pit over nightnight under magay leaves. Urban leagend or not, this could be the best barbacoa in Texas. Flour tortillas grilled perfectly. The red salsa is outstanding. Great menudo as I expected.

i cant believe i had to pay $9 for 2 of the most skinniest barbacoa taco ever. $4.25 for each taco and they hardly had any meat. this place is a huge scam and not worth the money. it was my first time buying in years but now i’ll definitely never buy again

Hadn't come to Rauls BBQ in a while because I was making my own food at home lately and it had gotten expensive. Always loved the guisado since I was a kid and it did not dissapoint. The guisado and cachete tacos were HUGE and tasted delcious. Will definitely come back more often.
