Bad food. Bad Service. Bad management. We made a reservation and they didn’t have a table when we arrived. Bad menu. Horrible experience. I won’t go back there.

So we used to go to the original across in Nuevo Laredo on occasions. Now I know it won't be exactly the same I get that. But we order a rinonada and a paleta. They both had little to no meat. The machito was a bit burned and overall was not enjoyable. Total bill was just over 200 bucks of which we each had two beers and two orders of gorditas. So would I recommend it not really unless they fix the servings a bit. I mean for 100 bucks I can do it at home and have an entire Cabrito. Also the facility had a smell to it of sewage and the bathroom were not upkeep. This is not like the original across.

Customer service is awful and not a priority here. Made a reservation in the morning for cabrito to serve a large party. Was told they would set plenty aside for our family. We showed up that night and there was none! Ruined the evening. Not to mention it took us an hour seated to learn this. This place could actually be great if a new manager was able to improve service.

Terrible food and experience, my friend and his date had bad steaks with grissle though out them, I had tacos caseros and all I got was 4 street tacos with nothing but small pieces of tough meat and grissle on plain corn tortillas...no veggies, avocado or cheese or seasoning!!! Waiter looked like it was his first time on the job forgot to bring me some side items I had ordered....but at least I didn't get charged for it. The tacos I had were so tough, I got tired of chewing it and left the rest for my ?. Overall they charge way to much for the poor quality of food and they were out of items my date wanted to try.The restaurant is beautiful inside and out but that is all!!! I dont recommend it at all

After hearing good and not great stuff I decided to try for myself. I have to say... everything I had was great. Their traditional gorditas were still great, the steak was very good and the cabrito was very well prepared. Service was fantastic and I will definitely be back!

I have extremely fond memories of going to Nuevo Laredo to el Rincon del Viejo... I was extremely excited to know that they had opened in Laredo. We took my uncle because he loves cabrito. The food was good the service is great I asked my uncle where he would like to go to celebrate his birthday she suggested that we go back unfortunately we were the only people there everything that we ordered they did not have available the service was terrible we waited over an hour for an appetizer they had no chicken barely had meat so two of the plates were returned the owner precedes to be bothered that the food was cold and the taste was horrible we left all the food mind you are waiter was exceptional but he did not speak Spanish and no one would help him mind you there was no one in the restaurant for three plates we paid over $100 so I proceeded to call and ask to speak to the manager or owner the son was in charge by this time I explained what happened and he laughed and told me that that was my problem I asked him the owners would call me back myju I don't mind paying for a good food but this food was disgusting no one ever bothered to call me back right now the economy is terrible if you choose to go eat at a good restaurant you expect great service and great food... I thought it was important can I share my experience I would definitely not recommend that restaurant for nothing in the world what is shame cuz I have fond memories of it when we were young... unsatisfied customer I would never recommend it horrible service and the food was disgusting...

The waiter provided great customer service but with little knowledge of the menu. Nonetheless, our food order took more than an hour. Our table of 4 was not served all together, and our plates were served to us every 5-10 minutes per person. The cause of delay was because of the cooks, and management miss placed our order (not once but three times). The price is outrageous for the quality and taste of food. Save your money and have your bbq in the convenience of your home. I had better tacos coming out from a food truck.

Delicious. Not sure what the poor ratings are about. We ordered the gorditas, guacamole, and the queso Panela to start. All was great. Our entrees and tacos were also very tasty. Good overall. Service was great as well.
