Maybe its just experience talking here but Ive lived in major cities with much better stores than this. Customer service is terrible here. If you have an online issue, they always request that you go in store at Laredo. I travel for work and been to dozens of sams clubs over the years. Never bothered making reviews because in my mind sams club has and should have standards.
Not only that, but selection here is not that great. Both in price and in availability. It's like theyre their own brand in Laredo. If they run out of stock, you dont get option to substitute ahead of time. So they will ask you to refund, instead of already given you one. For pick up, they will act like they didnt know an item was out of stock and offer a refund, but you MUST go in store. Any other sams club, it can be taken care of with a phone call. You call this store, they tell you to go inside. YOU DONT WANT TO GO INSIDE. You pay for plus to not go inside, and if you do its always crowded and not the cleanest store to be in.
Staff sounds well mannered but they are not. Theyre only trained to say what theyre told and when they get it wrong, they will give you an attitude. That's what you have to deal with going inside this store. Im all for wholesale prices. But Laredo just isn't up to standards. Im sorry for anyone who works there that feels different. Except their dock workers. Delivered there on occasions, they're down to earth and hard working. Perhaps management is the issue. They probably taken enough money from staff and customers to buy two more locations. Would prove how much better or worse they are when stacked against new competition.
I dont mind driving an extra mile for better service, even if they refuse to have better prices like other cities would. Any time my work allows it, Id take a 34 in any city that has a sams club knowing i'd be much better off. Two almost three years living in Laredo and this club has only disappointed. Last year, they closed the club several months for remodeling. I honestly didnt notice a difference. Probably poor maintenance with critical repairs needed, but of course they wouldnt tell you that.

A store where there is everything and what I like most is that if you have a credit card, you can make payments at Walmart, thanks Sam, club

Love Sam’s through and through. My family goes (and myself also) at least once a week, sometimes 2 times a week. They carry particular foods that I cannot find elsewhere in both price and in how [the food] they are prepared. My family and I also go for many other reasons, even when out of town, we find a Sam’s for things we are looking, in addition to prepared food.
I’m still shocked Laredo STILL only has ONE Sam’s. In fact, I feel two (maybe even three) in locations I have scouted would be perfect - if only I could invest!

A Pleasant Shopping Trip at Sam’s Club
I visited Sam’s Club today, and it was a delightful experience. The aisles were stocked with everything imaginable: giant bags of chips, oversized cereal boxes, and enough toilet paper to last a lifetime. The checkout process is very convenient when using Scan & Go in the Sam’s app.

They need to improve in customer service. Smile and friendly. Remember, customers are the ones that makes you guys rich. Thanks also helping the elderly with this heavy items to their car or truck to be loaded.
