I was robbed by the housekeeping. I stayed for business, left an item in the room and called right away to retrieve it. I was informed nobody had checked in to the room after I left and the item was "gone". Housekeeping took it and of course the housekeeper won't be held responsible. Poor customer service and horrible business practices. I will not ever go back to this hotel!
I am a regular guest at this hotel for two weeks government work. The hotel need a refurbish... bad. The beds are horrible. It's like sleeping in valleys. I flipped my mattress just so I could get some sleep. The mattress was not really a mattress but a solid piece of foam that has rips and stains. It's obvious that it had not been replaced in many years. There are no grills outside for long term guests to use. I know the owners have been told but it's like they don't care. Although they advertise alcohol in their picture on their website, they haven't gotten a license yet after a year or more of waiting. Also, I don't like to see dirty elevators and the ones there need work. Also, there is no dry cleaning service like most Marriott properties have. Most of the staff are friendly. Kevin at the front desk is a rock star and probably the only reason I keep coming back and the only reason I am giving three stars. The guy working the breakfast counter in the mornings has no personality at all and would be a better fit somewhere else. Even with free breakfast coupons, I tried to avoid being there where he was working. Proboably nothing will be done after reviewing but at least other will know what to expect. So disappointed. The hotel was lacking in many ways. There was no soap by the sink, you had to use the soap in the shower. We requested a wakeup call but did not get it. The clock on the microwave was 1hour and 15 minutes off. We were not given water at checkin and the bottles were almost $5 each. We are gold level Bonvoy members. The one plus was the hamburger from the Bistro and the two men working there.
Soy cliente habitual y me sorprendió el mal estado en que se encuentra, está muy sucio , apesta , la limpieza de las habitaciones es nula . Muy mala experiencia
I booked a meeting room a week in advance and when I got there nothing was set up for my meeting. No projector, coffee, water or seating arrangements taken care of before everyone’s arrival
This has to be the Nastiest hotel that the government has ever put me in! All of my coworkers said that their rooms had a Moldy Musty smell! The furniture is very old. Carpet torn in hallways. The patio is full of bird doodo, nasty lawn chairs. Garbage piled up at trash cans. Spaces in parking lot are tight, not suitable for trucks. My TV or cable would go out every soo often, then come back on. Beds are hard and mattress is cheap springs. Elevators are nasty. Would not stay here on a TDY! One coworkers a/C leaked and stained the musty carpet. My a/C would not have a middle cold temp, only Very cold or very hot! The restaurant/bistro is a nasty little Starbucks with 1 older guy, w/out a Starbucks uniform. He and his coworker took 30-45 mins to make breakfast sandwiches for us, constantly. UT, the front desk staff is very very friendly. My shower curtain was stained and torn. My bed sheets had blood one day! I lifted the other bed sheet and saw nasty dirty stains! See all my photos, if you don't believe me.
The hotel is ran down, rooms are out dated with inefficient AC. The overall hotel is not very clean, I would not recommend staying at this hotel. The hotel only has one washer and one dryer, and does not sell detergent or have quarters to exchange in hand.
Just stayed here for one night. The rate was about what i recently paid for a much nicer Marriott near the White House in DC, but was not nearly the quality or service. The front desk was professional at check in; however, my lifetime Titanium status was not acknowledged and neither was I offered points or a credit like normal. The cleaning staff was friendly when i asked for extra towels. The room itself, and particularly the bathroom, is shopworn and needs to be updated. The mattress was uncomfortable and my back was aching by morning. Low water pressure in the shower, and the toilet would not flush even though we were on the 4th floor. Parking was free. My room faced the freeway, so I was awakened throughout the night by vehicles with super loud exhaust. One positive is the room had a GREAT air conditioner - it had been over 100 degrees during the day. Many of the businesses had burglar bars or iron fences, so it may not be an especially safe area.
Stayed here for 3 nights with work this week. I agree with the previous reviews that noted some housekeeping issues, stains on carpet, and when I was sitting on my patio I noticed it looked like someone kicked in the backside of my a/c unit. But I thought the front desk service was especially polite, professional, and attentive. The kitchen staff and housekeepers were as well. I was given a free breakfast each morning because of my Marriott Bonvoy status. And the hotel actually offered housekeeping each day, so it was nice to have my room refreshed. I also like that this hotel offers a daily USAToday newspaper, as many hotels stopped this during the pandemic and never started it again. One of the lobby computers worked to print documents that I needed (the other didn’t though). My only real gripe was the chaise lounge chairs poolside are way too small for tall people like me…they really need bigger ones.

Habitaciones limpias, agua limpia
The room was not clean at all. The carpets had stains, windows not clean had fingerprints, bathroom shower was dirty. Even walking around on the carpets barefoot felt sticky and dingy. I know with covid there was a halt on housekeeping services at most hotels but this hotel really needs more of deep clean. This hotel does have housekeeping services back on now but the problem is they go through your belongings. My luggage was unzipped and my items in my luggage around my luggage was moved around. Fortunately there was nothing of value to take but this is completely unacceptable. I was worried about complaining to management when I was there as I still had 1 more night and didn’t want housekeeping to retaliate and actually take something. The next night I came back to my room and the housekeeping left their cleaning spray bottle on the sink and the nightstand was moved to likely make the bed but not moved back. Seems like this person was in rush and cleaned the bare minimum. Definitely not ever staying here again.
I stayed at this location for one night. I cannot believe this "hotel" is allowed to carry the Marriott name. Super dated popcorn ceilings, filthy carpets. It looks like a slightly updated motel 6. There were security bars around the parking lot and two of the Laredo's finest visited and an security guard is posted during the day. Stay elsewhere.
I'm so impresses!!! Everyone is so friendly. As soon as I entered, it smells so nice and fresh. My suite also some lies so nice. Everything was so clean. I will for sure come back.
This hotel is outdated, it smell bad and old. If I compared with other Courtyard I stay before this one in the worst. Rugs are stain, the lighting in the room is not the best. When I arrive and see an armed security guard in the lobby, it tell me the area is not the most secure.
