So I went to go stay at this hotel very bad and unacceptable especially the front desk clerk working she was very rude unprofessional the way she was talking to us with an attitude never again would I be staying in this place I got her name just so people can know she’s rude if you ever encounter any problems with this Gabriela girl she’s horrible human being rude she should be ashamed of herself if you can’t work around people they shouldn’t have her there as me letting all my coworkers know not to rent this hotel if you don’t want to get bad service I wish I could’ve found out who was in charge of her but she didn’t want to tell me the name good luck to anyone staying there

when you pay kool aid prices, don't expect a champagne room, if you are expecting the Carlton Ritz or the Waldorf Astoria, you came to the wrong place, now if you want value, with very nice employees and a comfortable quiet nights stay, then this is for you, the hallway carpet could use cleaning, but all in all I had a great stay here, I would definitely return again.

I've stayed at this hotel several times, but I'm afraid this will be the last. The room was clean, the front desk person was a nice guy, so no problem there. Here is why I cannot come back. The last time (several months ago) I brought my family. For the entire stay of 3 days, the elevators were out of service. I chalked it up to bad luck. Believing in second chances, I booked a stay again on this trip. The fire alarm went off several times during the night. Strike two. We're done.

We checked into hotel Ava again after a year. Last time we were not that impressed but decided to give them another try. They gave us room 1227 double bed and lots of room. Has a bathtub also. This hotel also features a good free breakfast which is better than a lot of other hotels. The pool is enclosed and more private. I would say a great stay and we can see the upgrades are happening now. Good deal for the price

We were assigned this hotel through Hotwire. For this particular vacation, we used Hotwire 4 times. Three were great this one was awful. I was a little unsure immediately after booking. Hotwire usually assigned name brand hotels. Immediately when walking in the front door, we knew this was not the place. It was terribly dated, dull and boring. The hotel had a very unfresh odour. Benefit of the doubt we registered and went up to our room. It was not much better. The carpet was old and dirty. The sheets were old and when pulled back, showed a stain. I immediately attempted to get online to look at other hotel options in Laredo, and the wifi would not even work. We immediately left the hotel and found much better accommodations elsewhere.

We stayed here as the price is good and, with a car, easy access to downtown area. The hotel shows signs of the chic place it once was, in the 1980s maybe, with a large tidy lobby and breakfast area. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. We choose to spend a second night here to give us time to see the museum and other sights of Laredo and do some shopping. Would stay again.
