Before meeting Jesus at The Hermit Café, I had no idea there was a difference between commercial and specialty coffee. Through my continuous visits and conversations with him, my knowledge and appreciation for coffee have grown tremendously. Jesus doesn’t just sell coffee—he provides an experience. His passion for the craft is evident, and every visit feels like a masterclass in specialty coffee. Highly recommend!
This was a fantastic experience. Jesus gave us a lecture on the entire process fo coffee making, with a focus on Colombian coffee. He taught us how to cup so that we could compare different beans, roasts, and wash processes. I make coffee with hand pour, and he had some great pointers as well.
