My mom is from Laredo and we were visiting for the weekend... but anyway we found great restaurant to where we are staying .... The food is simple and perfect! Esmeralda has a joyful personality! You won't be disappointed breakfast or lunch I promise!
Here by recommendation of a friend and I must say, I am delighted. I ordered the Queso en Salsa plate with papas guisadas, flour tortillas and a coffee. The queso was so tasty! Perfect with their salsa roja. The tortillas here are HUGE! So be mindful when ordering tacos. However the papa gusada was not my fave, had a funky flavor to it that was not to my liking. Nonetheless, you can opt for having the papas cooked a different manner so that’s awesome! I truly recommend this...
The food was tasty, The staff were very attentive. I would definitely go back but would opt for regular tacos.
