I was passing thru town, and I've been to this sonic before. It was pretty good, so I stopped by again. This time... they had excellent customer service, the wait time was great.. the food was fresh, and it just seemed alot more better than before. You can tell the management is doing an excellent job!!

Went to sonic in Lavon Texas this morning. I was the only car there and no one would ask for my order. Pressed red button and the two employees inside just ignored it. After about 5 minutes I left. Management really needs to do something about the poor help.

Apparently "light ice" means 1/2 inch from the top of the large cup instead of totally full of ice. How do I get a cup that is only 1/3 full of ice?

The costumer service sucks here. Be ready to wait for your food, even when you order ahead of time.
We’ve given this location a ton of tries. It’s closest to home so it’s more convenient. Unfortunately we have always left disappointed, and today was one of those “last straw” days.
For today’s order part of it included a shake. When it was handed to us, there were no toppings like it’s supposed to have and it was sloshing around as if it were water. I asked them to remake the shake. The manager came out asking what was wrong, which I feel like I shouldn’t have to explain. After explaining, the manager still looked at me like I was absolutely insane, that ice cream should not be so liquid that it’s sloshing around. That’s just common sense, I fear.
This isn’t the first time either. Previously, we had ordered a blast. But it was just SOLID vanilla ice cream with Oreos on top. Pretty sure Blasts are supposed to have everything mixed in. Burgers are mediocre. Orders take forever to come out. And the service is just astronomically subpar. We would much rather drive longer to have better service at another location. 10 out of 10 don’t recommend this one.

This is a typical burger joint. Burgers and chili cheese cheese dogs are my favorite! Drinks are great! If you use the app to order your drinks will be half off. They just changed their French fries and they are so good!
This location specifically, if your order is supposed to come with a sauce or you want condiments be prepared to get none with your order. You will have to hit the speaker button and ask after you get food. It happens every time.

I've been through the bad the good and the ugly for 20 years visiting Sonic. I usually stop in the mornings but avoid high crowds on Saturdays which can be a bit of delay. The Mon- Frid. morning shifts are quicker and efficient. Very friendly attitudes so far. This new crew is considered to be the good. I will never rate them a 1 star for being understaffed " slow or messing up orders. I rate friendliness and these crew has it;; patience is a must this days without being demanding on a small town that is slowly growing.It be great if they can open up a drive in window just to order drinks.
