It had been a minute since I stopped in for some lean sliced brisket. It was on point. 👍

Very friendly staff. Nicely decorated and clean restaurant and bathrooms. Plenty of parking. Family-friendly, kid friendly. food was delicious. Very tender meat. There was too much fat on brisket and was sliced, too thin, but it was good. Bring the family, but check when it's open. They are not open every day. Not good! I could eat BBQ everyday!

I ordered mac & cheese; ribs & loaded potato with pulled pork. Ribs were tough - no falling off the bone here. Potatoes were HUGE had to ask for "small" that still fed 2 people. Not as loaded as I was expecting. Having bar closed was nice to BYOB.

We stood for quite a while waiting for the guy behind the counter to be ready to take our order. He didn't seem to know what he was doing. He took my order, dished up my macaroni and then it sat waiting for a bun for my BBQ for over 10 minutes getting cold. The next guy just kept saying can I get a bun?? So I wasn't impressed with my cold macaroni, he also didn't ask what size I wanted but asked my daughter... I'm not a large woman so not sure why he decided on the size of mine....
The prices , I thought were reasonable for a sandwich but high for plates. Sides are $4.50 so quite high for a small pot of cheap sides....
Overall a nice place, nice interior, typical Texas farmhouse BBQ style, plenty of seating.

First time here… so the food was really good! Ate brisket sandwich with potato salad and green beans.. loved it all except the green beans just was something not right about the taste.. but the bad part was the customer service… there basically was none!! To tell us where to order.. never said hello.. thank you.. none of that.. it was just unpleasant.. for two people we paid $44 that’s a sandwich plate, drink and 1 meat plate 1 drink. If they want to keep those prices they need to step up their customer service game for sure!! Be more friendly ..

Normally the food is very good. I got 2 sliced brisket dinners to go. The meat this time was very fatty. It was a weekday and after lunch rush so I don't know if that had anything to do with it. They weren't busy. I had to ask for the bbq sauce. I don't mind using my own utensils at home but I shouldn't have to ask for them to but the sauce in the bag. I was very disappointed with the meat this time. Seems like all the restaurants in Farmersville don't care about take out orders. We can't see it until we got home or on they road. Im sure most won't complain and the owners know that. Maybe they view us as non returning customers so they give us the trash.
Sometimes im just not in a position to eat at the restaurant and sometimes I just like to eat in the privacy of my own home. People like me shouldn't get 2nd class food just because its takeout.

They didn't have peach cobbler again, happily settled for cherry and then they didn't put it in the to go bag. Everything else was great.

Standalone BBQ restaurant just off the Farmersville downtown. Plenty of parking available in a parking lot by the restaurant. Order at the counter and they bring it out to you. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable. The cornbread and beans were very good. Mac & cheese was very dry. Jalapeno and cheddar sausage was good. Turkey was ok. The brisket was very tender and had some bark but was very fatty and had almost no smoke flavor. Very disappointing. Overall, for a Texas BBQ restaurant, it is very mediocre and unfortunately very forgettable. Sorry, cannot recommend.
