Black Bear Diner League City

Big portions, very busy so had to wait.. but it is Father’s Day. Our server Lex took great care of us. Excellent job Lex!

My family and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Black Bear Diner in League City, where we were fortunate to have Lexx as our server. Lexx went above and beyond to make our dining experience exceptional from start to finish. She was attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about ensuring that every aspect of our meal was perfect.

Her warm personality, attention to detail, and willingness to accommodate our requests made us feel truly valued as customers. She even took the time to check in on us multiple times, always with a smile and a positive attitude.

Lexx is an outstanding server, and we would absolutely return to Black Bear Diner specifically to request her as our server again. She truly elevated our experience and made us feel like family. Thank you, Lexx, for your dedication to exceptional service!

I’ve eaten here a few times now and Lex was my server the last go round. She was great! She checked in, was very nice, and made sure I enjoyed my breakfast! She most definitely got a nice tip!

First time eating at a Black Bear!!! We loved it......our server Lexx made our experience ever more awesome.... I had dinner at the League City, TX, location. I ordered the Santa Maria Tri-Tip dinner with a salad, baked potato, and coleslaw. The server returned and told us there was no coleslaw at 5:00 PM. My dinner arrived, and I never received my salad. When the server came to check on us, I asked where my corn muffin was. The potato was cold and would not melt the hard butter pad I placed on it. I also noticed that all the sauce bottles on the table were empty. My wife ordered the LL Pot Roast and said it was more like a meatloaf than a Pot Roast. We have dined at this location many times, but it has gone downhill. I may return for breakfast, but not dinner. Someone needs to check on this location.

Soooo disappointed. We have been going to the League City Black Bear Diner for years. Food was good but The management has gone down hill fast. Wait staff were busting their butts today and the manager was wandering around totally ignoring the fact that they needed help. We waited 15 minutes at the counter to pay all the while 4 groups came in waiting to be seated. One of the waitresses kept yelling for the manager (Bailey) to help but she totally ignored her (I could see the manager) very sad situation. Get some decent support for your wait staff and take care of your customers!

The people and attention to quality and service are excellent! It was busy today and we still got everything in short order! The young man Chase sees to it that everything is right before you even receive it! Well done as always.
