Visited GOTCHA BOBA in League City to try their famous boba drinks. I’m not a huge fan of boba, but I wanted to give it a chance. The place is nice and the service was friendly, but I found it a bit pricey. I paid $6 for the drink, and when paying by card it asked for a tip. I left $1, so it ended up being $7 for one drink. 💸🧋 Overall, it was a decent experience, but I think the prices could be more affordable. 😊

Came here for the first time and never coming back. Not only was the boba a weird texture like it wasn't fully cooked but they don't even fill up the drink cup all the way if you ask for no ice. Just shows that they're just here to make a quick buck and other boba places that I've been to will fill up the drink cup to the top even with no ice.

Bad boba,hard and very chewy, and overcooked. They gave us so much ice, They only needed pour and half to drink. And the lids are obviously cheap.

I came here just to get an extra boba straw. The woman working the counter was rude and wouldn't give me one. I offered to buy a dessert so I wouldn't be getting a straw for free but she forced me to buy a drink and still didnt give me the correct straw. I had to ask for it again and she insisted I only take one. Will not be coming here again. There's no reason to be cheaping out on a single boba straw, and ive never had an experience like this at any boba place. True to its name, I was indeed got.

During my recent visit, I found the atmosphere a bit off-putting. The cashier appeared unenthusiastic and was difficult to hear, especially with the loud music playing. As someone who is hard of hearing, I had to rely on lip reading, which was challenging in that environment. A more positive and engaging attitude would really improve the customer experience. Also, the overwhelming scent of cleaning products made it uncomfortable to stay, I actually started to get a headache. I hope these areas can be improved. Drink wasn’t too bad, so I’ll definitely come back for that.

Got a drink from here today and saw a German roach climbing on the wall by the bench. Not very sanitary and made me not want to drink what bought

I've been to this boba shop multiple times, and I always order the Vietnamese coffee with coffee jelly. The flavor consistently impresses me; it's rich and bold, making it the best boba I've had so far. However, I do think the staff could be a bit more friendly and engaging. Thankfully, I haven't had a bad experience until recently.
One day, I visited, just like any other day, and ordered my usual drink. As I sipped my way down, I was shocked when I looked into my nearly finished cup and discovered a ROACH floating inside. It was a horrifying sight that made me feel sick to my stomach. I couldn’t believe that this happened, especially since I had always enjoyed the quality of their drinks.
After that incident, I couldn't bring myself to return. I've also reached out to my friends who visit the shop, warning them about my experience and advising them to steer clear. It’s disheartening because I really liked this place, but health and safety have to come first.
