Tonight was our first time to visit. Finding good German food can be challenging in Houston. Normally, I have to wait until I’m in New Braunfels for the good stuff. I’m very happy to say that I won’t have to drive 3 hours for great German food anymore. Not only was the food outstanding, but our server was stellar. We will definitely be going back!
There was another Kings BuerHaus in the heights that recently closed. We loved the location there and the atmosphere of their patio but did not like their service. We bought a gift card to get a bonus last fall, but because it closed, we did not get to use it. We drove to League City last night to use the gift card and check the other location. It was the complete opposite. It was great service, still great food, but the atmosphere was not as nice. It is an ok patio with nicely...
We sat on the patio on a Tuesday evening. Party of six. Food was good. I had a Reuben sandwich with fries. The server didn’t anticipate our needs very well (ketchup, extra napkins, refills, etc).
