We had breakfast here this morning. Lots of choices for the buffet. Everything was delicious and service was outstanding. Our server got us coffees to go as well.

This place is fantastic! A Sunday Brunch. Dinner time or a business meetingg- Paradise Reef is a good choice! The food is good and the Omelets are wonderful. The chefs customized more than a dozen within our party, and all said they were impressed. The pasties, cheesecake option... I'll be back!

Always fantastic!!! Don't forget to tip your server, even if you use a breakfast coupon. Every couple bucks helps.

So disappointed…I used to love this hotel. Booked it for a weekend staycation, but would’ve been better off elsewhere. Pretty much what could go wrong, did. - We paid extra for balcony water view room, where I specifically asked for a great view not facing a wall, rooftop or parking lot…of course, that’s exactly what we got - rooftop & parking lot. If you look to the side or in the distance, you might catch a glimpse of the pool & marina. Front desk clerk got snippy when I asked if another room was avail & assured me I had the best view. - Before we could even settle in, we noticed the telephone didn’t work, so 1st hour of our stay was with Engineering fixing the phone, which required moving the beds. - No sleep for the weary…not because of party goers or slamming doors, but because our A/C unit was so loud, it woke us up every 30 minutes when it came on. Hotel manager said normal for a hotel room. Really? I’ve had quieter running systems in cheap motels. You couldn’t even hear the TV with the A/C on. We had to turn the volume up to 45, then turn it back down when the A/C went off. I’ve captured videos…it’s ridiculous! - Speaking of noise, don’t flush the toilet! It would continue to run loudly for 5 minutes after every flush. Supposedly our good friends from Engineering came back to fix it…no change so perhaps they ran out of parts. Vids prove it’s louder than the A/C. - Hope you like taking a shower & bath at the same time. Now we know why there’s an anti-slip mat. - Just an hour in & the added breakfast buffet package was out of everything, so we had a lovely breakfast of honeydew melon, grits, & bacon. The piano playing was nice. - Right when we didn’t think it could get worse, we went to the pool bar, only to wait 30 minutes trying to get the attention of any of the the 4 bartenders, who were so busy laughing & dancing with one another, they didn’t notice the aggravation of people waiting for a drink. Sad how all the people around the pool bar wished us luck getting an order in. Frozen daiquiri & colada we finally ordered looked as if they had been sitting out awhile. They were so bad, I wanted to call Jon Taffer out for a Bar Rescue. Threw them away, as it wasn’t worth waiting another 30 minutes to get something else. We got back to our room & my daughter said, “at least the door key & TV work”. She was right. I really don’t want to be that whiny, complaining, picky person, but this stay was a complete **** show. We got no rest, no relaxation, & no rectification. My father first took our family to SSHR decades ago. I’ve been here on personal getaways, brought my kids here when they were younger, & celebrated birthdays here, so I was excited to come back & relive those memories. Sadly, the resort feel & service just aren’t here anymore.

The resort was nice, the only problem we had was the fact that we’re were charged 3 separate times for a one night stay. There was obviously some lack of communication going on with the front desk personnel. This happened with multiple family members on this same trip. Other than that, the food, and my fridge in the room not working, we had an amazing time. They also charge an incidental fee at check in which is $50 per day that they don’t tell you about when making a reservation.

I had the good fortune to plan an event at the South Shore Harbour Resort and I loved the whole experience. From the pre-planning to the On site event and after, the Hotel Staff was amazing. At every turn, the managers and staff were making sure that we have everything we needed, they showed up great care and hospitality. I loved how flexible they were and accommodated our unique requests with a smile. I would gladly bring another group to this hotel.

It was a business trip. Check-in was smooth and quick. Room is spacious and very cozy, the view is fantastic and breath-taking, make sure to ask for a room with a balcony. Bed is comfortable, bathroom is appropriately sized. Mini-fridge could use an upgrade as it's a little bit under-performing. The TV channels are pretty basic. The desk and its chair are very nice and comfortable. The staff is generally cheerful and helpful. Didn't try any of the restaurants.

Couldn’t have been worse! Room 215 has a beautiful view - of the roof. The room is ok but the bathroom is a nightmare! The tub has a huge poorly applied patch, the caulking looks like a crazed toddler did it, the mold on the shower wall, cracked sink and the crud in the corners leave me wondering about when or if it has ever been properly cleaned. The restaurant hours are strange to start with but on Saturday the bar/restaurant was closed - just closed. No lunch available until 1:30? No room service, no food. Poorly run with no considerations for guest experience.

Gooood Breakfast Buffet.

It has been 10 years since the last time I was at SSHR, and I still have no problem getting around. The room is close to the elevator and when going down to the Parking Garage and open its double doors, I could see my Truck. Can't get any better than that.
