I was very, very disappointed with the Greek Salad that I received on September 13 from the 2590 East League City Parkway location. I was told when I placed the order at the drive thru that they were out of cucumbers and I was okay with that. The salad was downright disgusting! When I opened the container, it smelled like garbage. Some of the lettuce appeared fresh but most of it was wilted. I was not expecting to have cherry tomatoes that looked more like little prunes, olives that looked like raisins and sliced purple onions that looked as though they had been cooked. Even the little package of dressing smelled like soured milk. Still, I decided to taste the salad to see if it was as bad as it looked and smelled. Big mistake! I gagged! I frequently visit this location and have been disappointed a few times. I have been delighted many more times than disappointed. Today, September 13, was the deal breaker! I almost returned the salad and asked for a refund but I decided to write this review instead. Just like I was told they were out out cucumbers, I should have been told that they were out of salad!

I’ve been going to the Hwy 96 location since it opened. The food is good, but the portions have continue to shrink. I used to get a standard chicken wrap, then started ordering it with extra chicken because the regular wrap was so lacking of chicken. Now the one with extra chicken is not even as much as the standard wrap used to be. I keep going back, hoping that it would change, but it hasn’t and I’m now done.
Just to add… the staff is always wonderful.

I came here awhile ago just to try it out because for some reason a salad sounded delicious. The staff was awesome via drive thru. I did a mobile order & I built my own salad. It made me full yes but everything just tasted like water...basically. the ranch came out like water, the strawberry drink tasted like water, even the extra protein I had on my salad tasted like...water.
Guy that took our order had a great attitude! Great energy! Killin it!

Sad to say, this place isn’t what is used to be. I used to frequent both locations, east and west. I most recently visited this location last weekend, and I’ve come to realize they are just not as good anymore. Even right down to the drink. From the very beginning I would always order half frozen strawberry lemonade with half traditional lemonade. The guy at the window(didn’t get his name) full face beard and believe a ponytail. Was really nice however he denied my drink request. He claimed giving me a drink that was half and half would be against policy, and he wouldn’t want to risk losing his job over my drink order. I explained that my drink order was never an issue there, and asked if it was a new policy in which he claimed that it was always policy. So I suppose every other person who gave me my drink risked their jobs over me. I ended up not getting a drink, and kept my order of a burrito which was not very good either. That will have been my last visit with Salad & Go. Such a short run for this place. Watched it get built from nothing, as I worked across the street for 4 years.

Burrito today was really good. The employees are the best anywhere, always greeted with a smile.
