We had breakfast here. I went with the two eggs, it was simple but delicious. I also opted to have a biscuit and side of gravy instead of toast. My friend had the same with a croissant instead of toast.

This is a nice classy place with good food. The menu is varied and most likely everyone will find something to enjoy. Service was prompt and friendly. Parking in the morning is available and right by the door. Next time we visit Leakey, I want to get back here.

Great place to eat! The ambiance was pleasant, and the staff were incredibly helpful! The food was just amazing! We had shrimp tempura for an appetizer, which was the best ever, and the steak was cooked to perfection! Love it and hope to be back soon! If you haven't eaten here, you need to!

Went to this place for lunch today. The population of the town is 315 people. The food here is really good. The atmosphere is very cozy. Highly recommend this place if in the area.

Food is always amazing, service is friendly, and the setting is classically beautiful with a touch of strictly pleasing farmhouse vibe. Perfect for date night and getting a little dressed up in a small town. The food is comparable to any fine dining in the big cities! Breakfast is fresh with plenty of healthy, delicious options and coffee fitting of any barista's pallet! Love this place and will definitely be going back soon! I recommend reservations in the evening!

Leakey Drug serves a great breakfast with a fantastic atmosphere. It has some city snazzy with country charm. I had coffee and a ham and mushroom omlete cooked perfectly with a fresh side of arugula. Great stop while riding the Twisted Sisters!

We had a huge group and they did awesome. I haven’t tried any other places in town but this HAS to be the best burger. Will stop in tomorrow for coffee.Parking: The parking can be a little awkward backing towards the Main Street.

I wanted to treat my family that lives in Leakey to a wonderful dinner before we traveled home. Since Leakey Drug was the fanciest restaurant in town, I decided to take them there. I made a reservation 2 days before we were to actually eat. So no surprises from that perspective. We got there on time and ordered drinks. My old fashion was about 1/2 inch deep, so a really tiny pour for $13. That was a huge disappointment. We ordered dinner and that is where the issues really started to happen. We were at the restaurant for 2 hours and our food had not come out. I kept on being told our food is next, but everybody that came in after us got their food before us. 2 hours wait and no food. Finally, I had enough and asked for the manager. There was not manage on premise - another issue when you staff has no clue about customer service. Any other restaurant, would have provided drinks or appetizer. This restaurant did nothing. When I spoke to the wait staff about my food, all they gave was excuses and argued with me. The final breaking point was when I asked the waitress if she "was arguing with the customer." She said "1000 percent." At that time I asked for the check and left without any dinner. So this restaurant is supposed to be high end and has high prices for the area. Unfortunately, the customer service is less than what you would find at McDonald's.It was supposed to be a celebratory night, but turned into a disaster because of the staff. If I were the owner, I would either train them on customer service or fire them and get some that know how to work with customers.

Outstanding dining experience in the tiny Hill Country town of Leakey. A memorable and delicious dining experience for our anniversary and holiday vacation. We had the Chicken Florentine and the Lamb Osso Buco. You can reserve in advance - they can fill the dining room quickly if there are several large groups.

Cutest place, we stopped on New Years Day after a hike at Garner State Park. They had a set menu for the holiday and it was perfect. Fried Chicken, black eyed peas, greens and mash potatoes and gravy.

We hired them to cater my mom's birthday party. We couldn't be happier, they were truly first class from the food to the service. They served delicious vegan and gluten free options also, as well as used biodegradable serving wear.

What an amazing dinner! We joined friends as a last minute Sunday evening and this little gem could surpass most restaraunts in the big city. The off the menu specials were the highlight. Yes it "seemed" pricey but any big city restaurant could not have touched how perfect each dish was and it would have cost at least 35% more . I personally chose the scallops which had an amazing sauce and either a risotto and pomegranate base. Scallops were huge and perfectly cooked. Another in our party had the fresh fish and he raved on how moist and perfectly baked it was. My husband had the steak and quail special and again beautifully executed. Another had the fresh salad and French onion soup . We all had a taste from everyone's dish and all agreed the food was beyond amazing. We closed out our dinner with 2 desserts- a blueberry creme brûlée and the blueberry cobbler. I don't even care for desserts and it was just so great- warm, slightly crunchy and not too sweet. The only thing that would say was a slight negative was we chose at least 3 wines that were out or unavailable and ended up with a wine that was a Chardonnay when none of the other whites ( in the price range ) were not available. It still blows our minds that this tiny kitchen could crank out so many complex, perfectly executed main dishes, side dishes all at one sitting. We usually don't eat out much living so rural but my husband and I agree this is somewhere we will be coming as often as we can. The regular menu also had very reasonably priced options if not wanting to have that fancier meal. Cute casual elegance so you don't have to dress up but if you come on a weekend it seems like there is a nice crowd

This is probably the nicest restaurant in Leakey. Super cute with a nice ambiance. The food was also good although a little pricey. Service was excellent. All in all, for a small town this place exceeded my expectations.
