This was a great little cafe not far from Garner State Park. The breakfast was great and the woman who waited in us was super nice... we had been camping for 3 days, so we probably looked homeless, but she kindly treated us like normal people and we were glad to have a full meal. That didn't come off a Coleman.
Arrived around 11am after the breakfast rush/before the lunch rush and when we walked in we noticed the waitresses/servers make a face/ looked upset/ bothered that we walked in. It honestly discouraged us a little but we figured they might be tired from the morning rush and decided to give them a chance. The food was good and they had a little store area which the kids enjoyed! Besides the faces made at us when we walked in our server was attentive.
Beautiful quaint restaurant down the street from our hotel. My Husband and I came in for breakfast although it was lunchtime :) we ordered the Frio breakfast and the pancakes were amazing!
Peaceful environment, waitress was helpful in explaining the different breads they offered, even left with a beautiful penny souvenir with a cross cut out in the center that they gave me for free- a must eat at when in Leakey, Tx!
