The food was great, brisket melts in your mouth. The owner and staff ( I think someone said everyone was related) were friendly, and it had the vibe of a family get-together. We will go back when we are in the area.
I was driving back to the state park & was thinking a burger or barbecue sounds wonderful. Just happen to drive by & see the yellow sign, Basey’ smokin oak. People I wanna let you know I’ve been all over Dallas, Houston, Tyler and as a matter of fact, I make a pretty good burger myself!
