“Real nice BBQ joint. Full service Friday-Sunday. Wednesday and Thursday is just sandwiches (refer to menu picture) Half rack of ribs were fall of the bone and i’m pretty sure it’s a house made BBQ sauce. Can’t go wrong here. It’s definitely worth a slight detour to experience this. I love these hole-in-the-wall side of the road type spots and this is hard to beat. Real legit Texas BBQ”

“Excellent breakfast tacos. Some of the best tacos I have had in general. I absolutely love their Bacon Egg & Cheese taco. Bacon is high quality, and the eggs are always perfectly cooked. Well warrants the long line this place attracts.”

“Popped in for coffee just minutes before closing on Saturday. The coffee was exceptional. Vanilla latte was as good as ones I’ve enjoyed in Belgium/Italy/France. Owner was on site and very friendly. As a 5th generation Texan, I’m so glad we have a place like Round Top and Round Top Coffee Shop.”

“Just happened to find this BBQ gem while passing through Giddings. Immediately loved the atmosphere and service. You can tell it's a one of a kind family business. Funny decorations and warm kind people. The ribs were delicious. Loved the sweet taste with the smoke flavor. Brisket and sausage were tasty and my son devoured his brisket sammich. On the sides make sure you get yourself some outlaw corn. All serving portions were worth the price. Owner and servers were super attentive and just gave a good sense of welcoming. If we ever pass through again we will for sure be making a stop!”

“My sister and mom live in Austin I live in Houston so we meet in Burton for lunch on occasion. Our regular Mexican food place was under maintenance so we needed to find somewhere fast. Paw paws to the rescue. The food was amazing! From fried pickles, fried green tomatoes, burgers and veggies were fantastic! The gal who helped us was so friendly. Hate I can’t remember her name. Paw paw made us feel special and we will definitely be coming back!”

“The food was so good that I forgot to take a picture. We ordered a fish plate and it was delicious. The restaurant was on our way home and stopped by chance but now anytime we have a trip that way we will definitely make it our stop.Chips and salsa great, we ordered agua Fresca which was also good. “Incredible. Best spot to grab a treat, so yummy and the owner is the sweetest man. My daughter accidentally dropped her bubble waffle ice cream and he gave her a new one. Can’t thank him enough. The bonus is the atmosphere. Best time to go is sunset or after to sit under the lights. Thanks Eyescream for always having the best tasty treats.”

“I am trying to pick off restaurants from my "want to go list" every Saturday, and this one was worth the drive to the country..The parking was fairly full, but there was plenty of seating. Our waitress handed us menus and brought water while we looked over the selections. My wife got the luncheon chicken fried steak and I ordered the patty melt..Our food arrived promptly, and it was very good. Besides being delicious, my wife appreciated the smaller portion. She still struggled to finish it. My patty melt was great as well. I too had a hard time joining the Clean Plate Club..It's a bit of a shame, because their pie case was very tempting..This will be a prime location during the Round Top Antique Show or while bluebonnet hunting. Our experience was excellent and we'd be sure to stop when near.”

“Love it! Cute little food truck with a metal structure built around it. There are tables inside and vending machines, as well. I get their breakfast tacos and they are YUMMY!! I like their hot sauces, too. They have a green one that's got some good spice to it. ♡”

“Best bartender in the world. Pool tables. Dart board. Cold drinks. Usually, it is not packed if you get there before 10 pm. A great atmosphere now that smoking is no longer allowed inside. If you like small town bars, this is your place. Typical bar food hits the spot after a few drinks. Wide selection of liquor and beer.”

“Great Community Location. Brian and Eva are always wonderful hosts. Food , Atmosphere, Drinks are always top notch. One of my favorite places in Round Top to stop in for a quick beverage and maybe watch some sports.”

“I never post reviews. But after reading the negative reviews from people that are in to big of hurry in life. Slow down and put yourself in someone's else's shoes. They all complain "only one person serving"This is a small business trying to survive ina small town in today's economy. I've been eating there for year's. We drive 25 minutes to do it This lady is super. I mean she takes the to go orders over the phone, handles the orders inside gets everyone's drinks and refills. clean the tables check everyone out. Hell bet she does the books and cleans up every evening..Never have had a language issue. So next time you notice only one person serving turn around and go to McDonald's. Plenty of people working there and are pretty quick from my understanding. I've owned small businesses and understand and appreciate people like this lady. life flys by pretty fast to be judging and ugly to others...”

“We stopped by Saturdy evening around 5:30 and Lost Pines still had plenty of BBQ. I had the 2 meat plate with the Briskett, Mac & Cheese and green beans. I really liked that I was given a choice between the lean briskett or marbled. Lots of flavor, good bbq sauce and plenty of seating. Not a restaurant in the traditional sense. It's a walk up counter, with food in a glass case. You order and carry food back to your table. Friendly service. I definately recommed.”

“Such a delightful atmosphere, menu, and service. We ate here twice during our 4 day stay in Round Top.The Brussel sprouts are an absolute must- some of the best I’ve had.We also enjoyed the salmon, tenderloin, blue cheese burger, key lime pie (GF), mushroom appetizer, as well as some delicious cocktails/mocktails.Everything was extremely well cooked, the food came out very quickly, and the service was top notch.We are both inside and outside, both were lovely.HIGHLY recommend!”
