Really cool old store with amazing history. Be sure to ask the owner about her family history of owning this store and what it used to be. Also take the time to go upstairs and look at everything that's frozen in time up there, so awesome!While you're there enjoy some ice cream, a soda or a sandwich!
Nice people. Lots to see. Chocolate malt was fantastic.

I used to go to this store in the late 60's and early 70's. Valdor (not sure it is spelled the right way), was always standing behind the counter with a smile. He knew my father and my grandparents. My grandparents, Minnie and Gobel Sanders had a farm just a few miles down the road on Cummings Creek. We used to get a 16 ounce Triple XXX Root Beer (in the bottle), and a triple decker cone of BB Special ice cream (Blue Bell) for 25 cents.
