“Incredible. Best spot to grab a treat, so yummy and the owner is the sweetest man. My daughter accidentally dropped her bubble waffle ice cream and he gave her a new one. Can’t thank him enough. The bonus is the atmosphere. Best time to go is sunset or after to sit under the lights. Thanks Eyescream for always having the best tasty treats.“

“I grew up on DQ. Told my first lie on a DQ playground and then cried to my Mom about it. Their burgers are kind of like the burgers you'd get at a concession stand at a football game back in the 90s. Wish they salted their fries a little harder, but as I get older, I also appreciate less added salt in my food. Their blizzards are their crown jewel, as far as I'm concerned... gitchu one!!!“

“I used to go to this store in the late 60's and early 70's. Valdor (not sure it is spelled the right way), was always standing behind the counter with a smile. He knew my father and my grandparents. My grandparents, Minnie and Gobel Sanders had a farm just a few miles down the road on Cummings Creek. We used to get a 16 ounce Triple XXX Root Beer (in the bottle), and a triple decker cone of BB Special ice cream (Blue Bell) for 25 cents. I still remember seeing the high top button up shoes for women in the glass counter cases, buggy whips hanging from the ceiling by the stairs in the back of the store. My sister, and cousins and I used to collect beer and soda bottles during the Ledbetter Homecoming, then we would get our parents to haul them to the store for the deposits. We would then spend the money we made on deposits on ice cream. This store has a special place in my heart, so many wonderful memories!!!“
