Stopped on way from Austin to Houston. Very cool vibe… If you’re in area stop by and check it out.
Great little place to sip some fantastic whiskies. Staff was attentive without being overbearing. I should have taken a bit longer looking around to see if they had any distillery only bottles. Next time.
If you like great whiskey from a small batch distiller in a comfortable Texas whiskey bar atmosphere this is your place.

Koopers Whiskey is a must stop for bourbon lovers. Housed in a really cool old building converted into a tasting room, the place has a retro/man-cave vibe and smells great. The atmosphere is cozy and perfect for enjoying whiskey. The bartender, Destiny, is amazing and informational, providing tastings and an education of the products with extensive knowledge and a friendly personality. The drinks are delicious, with fun options like an outstanding whiskey sour and an old-fashioned made with serious bar skills. A Special Limited Release day featured the fantastic Fathers Office Cigar Blend. Favorite whiskeys include the Sweetheart of the Rodeo blended Bourbon, which has a nice honey taste and no burn going down. Guests often walk away with a couple bottles and new shirts, making it a hidden gem and a new must-stop on any trip to Round Top from Houston.
