Great place and great cause. Be prepared to wait to get a table. Cash only, but ATM available inside. Always friendly service and delicious food. I had the rise and shine and it was excellent. Coffee is delicious too.

The name says it all… Comfort. When you walk in, you’re greeted with the biggest smiles, positive and joyful artwork filling the walls and a variety of kitchen tables that brings back your best memories of enjoying a meal from every phase of your life. This unique 501c(3) restaurant a great model of how to support your community and make a real impact in people’s lives. The food was cooked with love and it was delicious! The portions were huge and we had plenty of leftovers to enjoy later. The wait staff was amazing! They were so kind and talkative and sharing their stories, you feel like family. You must check this place out again and again.

This is the most amazing restaurant because there mission is to help people who are trying their best to change their lives. The food is delicious and the service is great, you will feel at home. I'm so happy to see they have expanded and not have the coffee shop a few doors down Sweet Serenity! Give them a visit you will enjoy Comfort cafe!
What a great place to eat, with wonderful team members that all seem to genuinely enjoy being there, and a beautiful mission to support individuals in recovery. Cash only may seem odd to some, but where that cash goes makes all the difference. Everyone needs to enjoy the food and atmosphere of family at the Comfort Cafe or their sister coffee shop at least once, if not very often. I'll be back soon!
Great vibe. A little loud if you want quiet during the lunch hour but doesn't even count against it! Bring cash but if not, they have an ATM. Love it 100%...!!!

11 am Friday a bit of a wait, but not an unpleasant one. Huevos rancheros, chocolate chip pancakes, French toast were ALL EXQUISITE!
This is a joyous place to brunch, and a blessing to support the hard work these community members are doing to heal, learn, grow, and choose life.

Let me start first with the four star. It's because I wish they were open later than 16:00 and that's the only reason why.
Now I feel like an idiot because I forgot to take pictures.
This was my first time and I came with two of my prospects.
I thought I was going into a comfort food Country Kitchen. Absolutely not! The energy of this place is out of this world. The White staff absolutely the best! Service of food very fast. Now be forewarned before you go to this place it takes cash only. I'll let them tell you the unique style of how you pay for your dishes. I love the idea I love the concept I love everything about it! I had the French dip absolutely one of the best I've ever had, I made a mess with a potato-like mac and cheese casserole, it was absolutely terrific. And what I'm going to save the best for last is a unique flavor of cantaloupe with balsamic vinegar and basil. And it worked 100% it worked the flavors are great. My prospects had little Fufu sandwiches egg salad sandwich for one and tuna for the other why was I embarrassed LOL but it took them by surprise how wonderful the food was prepared how quick and fast the service to bring the food. Like I said the only reason for four stars because it closes at 16:00. I wish they were open later. I will definitely be coming back. I want to try everything on their menu. This place does good things for people and they serve some of the best food you'll ever have. Like I told you guys if I have an L1 around that area, you'll have about 20 to 30 bikers coming to your place. Thank you for the great food thank you for the great service thank you for the great conversation I look forward to our next visit.

Went for brunch on a busy Sunday morning for a fairly large party—wait was only 40 mins, and it was suggested that we stop by their cafe also run by Serenity Star just across the parking lot, Sweet Serenity, while we waited. The espresso there was very, very good, and the employees were personable.
Comfort Cafe is not an institution which requires their servers and hosts to stifle their individuality in favor of robotic customer service, and that is part of what helps patrons connect if they are open to do so. That should be understood before dining here. Everyone we encountered was friendly and authentic, and our server was open in briefly sharing his experiences with Serenity Star to explain the organization’s impact.
What will bring me back, though, is 100% the food. Do yourself a favor and get an order of their breakfast potatoes. I had a perfectly cooked omelette, other party members at my table raved about the fluffiness of the pancakes and bennies that were poached to perfection.
Literally no notes, and Serenity Star is absolutely an organization you should be giving your money to in order to support your local community members.
Actively engaging with, loving, and meeting your local community members where they are at is a very small, but impactful way to uplift the health and happiness of all of us as a collective.

Just finished eating at the comfort cafe. I have heard of this place but didn’t really know I was walking into the actual restaurant until I looked around. I was very impressed with this place, the people and the food. The food and service was great. Felt good to help out and support this community.
