Seeing all these negative comments and it actually makes a lot of sense. Slow workers, slow drive thru, and messed up orders. They ruined my girlfriend’s fish sandwich after I had hyped it up to her. The fish sandwich I got from another whataburger location was awesome. Then I got one from this location and it was total trash. Didn’t look at all like the picture. There was no lettuce, no tomato, no tartar sauce! Literally just fish and bread! Super dry. My girlfriend and I were throughly disappointed.

It has now been 25 minutes that I’ve been waiting for my online order. They need to demolish this place again and build something else. I’m the General Manager at a restaurant. This is disgustingly unacceptable. Not to mention the place is filthy and the manager on duty is actually wearing AirPods

They have a new building but the staff must be the same. Slow!! Only 2 cars up at the window when I drove up. Yet it took me almost 25 minutes to get to the window. The girl at the window didn't say a word. No good morning or thank you at least. If someone has a big order they should have multiple people working to get it out. Instead everyone is just standing around handing out ketchup or something. Fast food shouldn't take that long.

Not even demolishing this place and rebuilding it from the ground up can shake the curse of this whataburger. Slowest service ever . . 35 minute wait for a grilled chicken sandwich on a Tuesday late night only for the lazy diabetic cashier to say “I think I gave it to someone else”.

Ordered 2 #1 with cheese, one with extra onions , the cashier seemed flustered because there was a long line almost to the entrance & she was the only one working. No shortage of staff because that Whataburger had more staff than I’ve ever seen some were having conversations inside as seen by me while I filled up my beverage cup, I was wondering why they weren’t crossed trained so they could help the cashier up front . The cashier didn’t give us a tag plate so the service worker could find our table to serve our food. I kept on the lookout for the server ( which took longer than most other Whataburger with less staff. When she came out I told her the cashier didn’t give us a tag number , she asked “ is it 2 meals 1 with extra onion ? Yes . I noticed my burger as the special and another piece of something wrapped up in a yellow paper , when I opened my burger it didn’t have cheese, but the put it in yellow sheet of paper next to the burger … I took a bite of my burger and it was cold, so I told my spouse My burger isn’t even warm it’s actually cold, “ my too “ so I took both burgers up to have them reheated a very nice employee gracious accepted and warmed it up . His name is ARIMAS .. kudos to him . Later I asked for a bag to go and a asst manager said yes mama, he name is Madison she went to the back as I , she walked around as I watched her …she continued doing nothing just walking around she continued and came up to the front empty handed still walking around … I ASKED AGAIN “ excuse me , but I’m waiting for my paper bag.. She said “ I was going to get it “ and I said I saw you walking around whan I asked “ she walked away ignoring me totally .. I was not being rude . She is young and maybe showing off … I don’t know why she had that attitude . I’ve been manager many times in my lifetime including being a program administer with the state of Texas . I always treated both clients and employees with respect because that is what I learned in college . First customers are always the clients who bring in the money ,second customers are your employees who do the work correctly to keep the business running and both must be respected . I’m almost 70! Years old and I don’t understand todays youth. I also know how to run a business , because before college I worked as assistant manager for Burger King . 1st and last time I visit this Whataburger . Been to the one near my home and that Whataburger is where I’ll keep going .

Before renovation, i hardly ever had any problems. They need to train the staff correctly or something, they keep forgetting to add French fries to meals and giving wrong drink on orders the last few times i came , at least ordering thru the app ??‍♀️

Today I visited the new Whataburger facility that replaced the old facility at the Bandera and Huebner location. I worked in the food service industry. Have been visiting this Whataburger location (Bandera & Huebner) for over two years at different days and times. Nothing has changed with the building of the new facility. The service and food have been consistently excellent.The staff have always been professional, courteous, friendly, and kind. Managers do outstanding job solving orders and customer complaints even when the customer is abusive to the manager and staff.Ingrediants for food items have been of great quality. Food items that were supposed to be hot have always been hot and cold food items cold.Wait time for orders is consistent with other fast food companies.Thanks for a job well done.Parking: Great Disabled Parking close to entrance.Wheelchair accessibility: Great wheelchair accessibility. Have tables situated so that wheelchair can access tables.

The place was just redone and recently opened the floors are dirty and slippery with grease. KIDS are working there using the place as a social club. There was a girl there working hard but the boys were playing, standing around, and eating while walking back and forth to the tables and cooking area. Alot if the kids were just staning around laughing.The fries were floppy and cold they were not crisp and hot like they usually are. The burgers were correct. The ice was good.There needs to be more adults working to help get the orders out and not have so many children working at night.

What was the point of renovating the building? Literally made the inside seating way too small and the drive thru speaker is about 50 ft away from the car, and im pretty sure the the employees can’t hear you because they got some of my order wrong.

Glad the location is finally open again. Still don’t understand why it had to be demolished and re-built. I guess owners had their reasons. Drive-thru is still super slow. I decided to park, order online and go inside since curbside was unavailable after 10pm. Went for a shake with my daughter and the workers had issues finding my online order. Once they figured out it wasn’t made yet (or given to drive thru) they made the shakes but they were having issues putting the lids on our cups. We had issues putting our straws through the lid, turns out they put gravy lids on our shakes.
