We thoroughly enjoyed our Anniversary dinner at Bistecca. Truly a local gem. The service was excellent, the food was outstanding, and the overall experience (save for the parking) was just perfect. Couldn't recommend this spot more. If you're in the mood for something unique and delicious set your sights on Bistecca. You will not leave disappointed.
Excellent dinner for a party of six, including two young children. Outstanding service from our server, Sarah. Food was amazing as always. Chef made it feel like we are treasured as he stops by and greets his guests individually. Bistecca is delightful. Highly recommend reservations as they do get busy.
Our drinks and meals were outstanding, and our server Lauren was friendly, professional, and very accommodating. We'll request her again.
Bistecca is truly an exceptional restaurant. From the moment we arrived, everything was prepared with care and precision. The drinks were perfectly made and right on point, and each course offered just the right amount of food while still feeling indulgent and beautifully presented. The she-crab soup was rich and flavorful, the beef carpaccio was delicate and exquisitely prepared, and both the duck and lamb chops were outstanding. Every dish reflected impressive attention to detail and quality. A special recognition goes to our server Lauren, who made the experience even more memorable. Her excellent service, and charm, created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, while she remained attentive and professional throughout the evening. Bistecca delivers wonderful food, perfectly crafted drinks, and exceptional hospitality. It is the kind of restaurant that could easily compete with the finest dining establishments in any major world city. We look forward to returning.

Excellent food and service at Bistecca. It's a must try in Flower Mound (and return too)
Bistecca is one of those rare restaurants that delivers an unforgettable dining experience every single time. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with an atmosphere that blends upscale elegance with true Italian warmth. The service is attentive without being intrusive, and the staff consistently goes above and beyond to make every guest feel valued.

Bistecca is our favorite restaurant for special occasions. They've added new items to the menu and the beef Wellington was delicious. Sara's cakes are also a must have every time.
We celebrated our 30th anniversary and had a wonderful time. Hunter was our server and he was incredible. Timely not intrusive & made some good recommendations for us. We go to bizyecca on special occasions frequently and this was another home run.
I liked it- a bit pricier than I normally like (though to be fair, I'm not really a big fan of fancier places to eat). That said, we had excellent service. Coby, Mitchell, and the rest of the servers did their jobs well (apologies if I misspelled their names). Our group (of 8!) had a nice time.

Always a great dining experience. The wait staff are exceptional and have been with the restaurant for a long time. And Chef usually comes around to make sure everything is served as expected.
We moved to Flower Mound seven years ago and quickly discovered Bistecca Italian Steak House. We absolutely fell in love with it — the food was amazing, and the service was always impeccable. Unfortunately, over the last several years, things have steadily gone downhill. Both the quality of the food and the level of service have noticeably declined, and our most recent experience may have been the final straw. Today, we placed a to-go order that included scallops, crab cakes, fries, and more . The moment my wife opened the container of scallops, an overwhelmingly strong fishy smell filled the room. It was so bad that I had to leave the kitchen. I immediately asked her to close the container, and we ended up moving it outside while opening the windows to air out the house. Once the smell finally dissipated, we moved on to the fries, which were severely overcooked and burnt to the point that many of them were nearly hollow in the middle. The crab cakes were slightly better, but still only mediocre and nowhere near the quality we once expected from Bistecca. Although we still had additional food left from our order, the experience had already ruined our appetite. After everything we had encountered up to that point, I simply had no interest in eating anything else. It’s truly unfortunate because Bistecca used to be one of our favorite restaurants. We created a lot of great memories there over the years. But after this experience — combined with the steady decline we’ve witnessed for quite some time — it will likely be a very long time before we consider returning.
