We have not been here in several years and I have no idea why. The three of us ordered hot tea, spicy edamame, gyoza. The rolls are huge and incredible. The killer roll was our favorite but the Hawaii, Panic roll and golden Cali were amazing. Service from Ngun was excellent and we spoke with Kim the owner 2 or 3 times as she worked the room. Clearly this is why 23 years success in the food business.
I went to the Lewisville TX location and ordered 2 of the most expensive dinners on the menu. I ordered the sashimi dinner. If your fish is fresh it’s hard to screw up. It was good. The portions were decent. I also order the tiger prawns dinner. Look up tiger prawns on YouTube. They are Huge. They are a fast growing invasive species. We've been coming to Blue Ocean for 20 years, and it remains outstanding. Best sushi anywhere. Pictured are the Blue Ocean Roll and Kim's Roll. Both so good. Also try the Tuna Tower and Mussels Dynomite. The service (Kim) is always excellent. The drinks are also great.
