I visited again the Casa Mia in The Colony along Highway 121 between 423/Josey and Paige Road (south side), next to Starbucks (not very visible from 121).
I really like this small family-owned restaurant. They own two locations, The Colony and Little Elm. The food is first-rate and a happy hour Margaritas are very affordable and awesome! The owners and staff are very accommodating and sweet people. Our server Ky today was awesome.
They are one of our favorite Mexican restaurants in the area! If you live in the area near Grandscape or are just passing through, you won't be disappointed.
Good spot for fresh Mexican food.

Great food, great customer service, and great atmosphere. Thank you G for making such a chill experience and the pineapple margarita!
Their enchilada is literally the best enchilada plate I have had in DFW. From the sauce to the perfectly cooked tortillas to the moist ground beef. It was wonderful. The beans and rice were great. Nothing was salty. The food has perfect flavor. 10/10!
I'll be coming back and bringing my family with me!

really wanted to like this place based on all the great reviews I read before coming in. Maybe part of the issue was that I arrived around 9:30 PM and they closed at 10:00 PM, but overall, the food was disappointing.
I ordered the ribeye fajitas, and the server never asked how I wanted the steak cooked. To be fair, I didn't specify either. However, when the fajitas arrived, the ribeye was cooked well done, which is something I've never experienced with fajitas before and definitely didn't enjoy.
The service was actually excellent—10/10—which is the main reason I'm giving this place 2 stars instead of 1. That said, my tortillas and all the fajita fixings came out first, and the actual fajitas didn't arrive until about 7–8 minutes later. By then, the tortillas were already getting cold.
Since it was close to closing time, I didn't complain and just finished my meal. Maybe they were having an off night, but based on my experience, I was very disappointed. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be giving this place another chance.
I wanted to leave this review so others know that the experience may not always match the overwhelmingly positive reviews. Your experience may be different, but mine fell well short of expectations.
