Stopped in for a quick lunch. Good, attentive service that made sure we had drinks and chips. I had the chilaquiles with red sauce. Sauce was flavorful but chips were too soggy. Rice was average beans were good.

I just left this restaurant after waiting over 35 minutes for my food—with no updates or communication from the staff. If you're unable to serve food in a timely manner, the least you can do is let your customers know

We just enjoyed a late lunch with our friends at Chante, here in Lewisville. It was our first visit. Our friends are visiting from San Antonio (great food) so I had some trepidation about taking them to a Mexican restaurant here. The great reviews we read on Google convinced us to give it a try.

We shared Fajitas Texanas, a mix of steak, chicken and shrimp. The flavors were balanced and complemented the tender proteins. Well-seasoned mashed black beans accompanied the fajitas, which were also a hit as well.

Our friends shared the Mole Enchiladas and they were delighted with the quality.

Prices were reasonable. They offered an extensive lunch menu but we chose to order from the dinner menu since we were sharing.

After the meal, we were pleased to visit briefly with Chef-Owner Jim. He said he is working hard to serve meals of “elevated quality.” He made a great impression.

We look forward with pleasure to returning and trying other dishes. Highly recommended!

Superb food and service. Someone in their kitchen takes meat seriously - perfectly marinated pork and seasoned well. It’s rare to find this much care in the preparation of a meal. Chips, homemade salsa and bean dip were free and superb! We will be back!

Order was wrong, then just awful tasting. Rice tastes like straight butter. Tea tasted old/burnt. Got tacos and there was something non-food in it.

Tried Chante for the first time today and I was so impressed. I had the Burrito Bowl and a flan. Both were so delicious. I will be back for sure!

Solid Tex-Mex spot with reliably good food. The birria tacos are the standout—consistently tasty and well-prepared every time. The salsa is fresh and plentiful, and most dishes come out hot and flavorful.

Service is fine. It’s not bad by any means, just very much the bare minimum. No extra effort or warmth, which is a choice, and the only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five.

Still, if you’re looking for quality Tex-Mex and especially solid birria, this place gets the job done. I’ll definitely be back.

Terrible. Will never eat here again

We had been coming here for years. Tonight's visit was not so great. The quality and quantity has gone down a lot. I ordered beef and chicken fajitas. The meat was cut so very thin, was over cooked and very small portions. I always would rather pay more than be disappointed with the dish.
