We had been coming here for years. Tonight's visit was not so great. The quality and quantity has gone down a lot. I ordered beef and chicken fajitas. The meat was cut so very thin, was over cooked and very small portions. I always would rather pay more than be disappointed with the dish.

Absolute best Mexican food in the country! I have had Mexican food all over the US and in Mexico and Chante tops them all! We used to go here weekly and love the staff, food, and environment! We now drive 4 hours a few times a year just to go to Chante! Highly highly recommend!
Brisket tacos are always fantastic!

Unfortunately, Chante isn’t as good as it used to be. My biggest issue is the inconsistency in quality and service. Drinks are sometimes strong, other times not. Servers will sometimes bring you a margarita on the rocks when you ask for a frozen margarita. Some items on the menu are not always available. They used to give several different types of salsa and bean dips with the complimentary nachos, but now you may just receive one or two varieties of salsa or no bean dip. It feels like a gamble when eating here.

Our wish is that these restaurants will do in-depth research to provide high quality non toxic food to us natural organic beings.
Canola oil is gasoline and most places use this oil to fry their foods. Consider coconut oil, avocado oil, extra virgin olive oil.
Corn is a hybrid that has gone wrong and does not digest in the body.
Wheat/Gluten has been weaponized and should not be served in any restaurant.
The way the food industry has been set up is the largest reason why there is illness on the planet.
Take a stand and only serve natural organic non weaponized toxic foods.

Enchiladas were room temp on the outside, and maybe 2C hotter in the middle. Carne Asada and fajitas were cooked past well done and tasted like shoe leather. One fish dish was OKish, but the salmon had a very strong old fish taste. Tacos were greasy and had no flavor...and there were only 3 tables occupied at dinner time. Nothing at all was good. Im guessing this is another once-successful establishment on the brink from bad management. Even the pictures from past customers look completely different.

Literally the best carne asada I’ve had in North Texas (on par with San Antonio Mexican food). Margaritas come extra strong, and the quality and presentation of all the food is fantastic. Price per portion is decent as well.
I’ll be returning soon for this carne asada…and margaritas…and awesome service (shoutout to Reagan)!!!
