(Kent Moore) I've searched for a place to have breakfast for a long time. The problem is that most restaurants cook their eggs on a griddle, and that leaves the eggs oily and flat. It is the lazy person's way to cook eggs. In my view, East Street has the best breakfast in town. Very pleased.
Never been here before but my bf and I wanted breakfast at 1:15pm. Not many good places serving breakfast that late. Google recommended Easy street Cafe, 5 minutes away, decided I'd give it a try. I got the breakfast sampler and my boyfriend got the chicken fried chicken. It was probably THE BEST breakfast either of us have had in a long time. They were super welcoming even though we showed up 30 minutes before closing! I tried my bfs steak and it was hands down the best...
This is a hidden gem. I had no idea they've been in business for 27 years. I had their fried chicken, black eyed peas and mashed taters with gravy. The chicken is outrageously delicious and tender. So much preparation can be sensed. I'm definitely bringing my family and friends. This will be a regular spot for me.
