The owner is a really cool guy. I forgot to get his name but he's funny and friendly. I can tell he loves what he does. The food is bomb and the prices are very affordable. If you haven't been I definitely recommend going

During my work trip to Lewisville, I hit up this awesome smokehouse a few times for lunch. It's got that cozy vibe, you know? And the smoked meat? Off the charts! I'm talking juicy brisket, fall-off-the-bone ribs, and flavorful pulled pork. Every bite was like a flavor explosion. And the service? Lightning fast! Even when it was packed, the staff was on it. Super friendly too. They made sure we had everything we needed without any fuss.Overall, if you're ever in Lewisville and craving some killer smoked grub with a side of top-notch service, this place is a must-visit. Trust me, you won't regret it!Parking: A lot parking spot

The bbq was a 4 or 5. The rest was not great. The baked beans were something you could get out of a can. The Mac and cheese was nothing great. I expect hand made baked beans at a place like this. The meal was a good value. Decent food for a decent price.

I do not usually waste time for reviews unless necessary. All I can say is that the brisket was dry, flavorless and terrible. The worst I have ever had.Honestly, if I could eat there free - I still wouldn't. Plus the price was exorbitant. $23+ for two terrible briskets and a small side of cole slaw. They also charge ten dollars for a frigging baked potato with some toppings. While Dickey's certainly ain't the king of the hill for barbeque, Fat Cow makes them look like a 5 star restaurant.Food flavor and quality at Dickey's is so much better.I am a big supporter of little mom and pop businesses but I cannot stand being overcharged for tasteless and poorly prepared food.

Fat Cow closed their doors to host 65 collegiate synchronized swimmers, coaches, and parents from the University of Incarnate Word, San Antonio Texas. We were there celebrating UIW taking NCAA D1 championship. The owners, husband and wife, running an amazing business. They single-handedly prepared and served the food. The beef brisket, pulled chicken and beef sausage were delicious. The sides of mac & cheese, potato salad, and baked beans were equally as great and the buns oh so delicious. The food was very tasty. The servings were generous. An incredible value for this homemade authentic Texas BBQ! The restaurant is spacious with great natural lighting from the multitude of large windows. We are so grateful as to how easy it was to arrange this event, and how accommodating the owners were. Diners and corporate events will be impressed! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!

Food was amazing. The ribs were fall off the bone and delicious! Brisket was one of the best I have tried. I can see why they are the best in Denton County. Our new go to BBQ!

Decided to visit this place based on the reviews. Immediately welcomed by the owner Allen who had the most amazing personality and made some great recommendations.Definitely try the brisket tacos with the bacon-wrapped stuffed jalapeño in the middle. Probably the best taco I’ve had in my entire life!

Outstanding BBQ!! The brisket was SO good it didn’t even need sauce. So tender without being too greasy. The jalapeño peppers are delicious because they also have brisket in them! And they’re homemade recipes by a hilarious and friendly couple that own and run the spot. They create a homely feel with their care and their delicious food! I’ll definitely be coming here whenever I crave bbq

Definitely worth a try, will take my family back here whenever we want some BBQ. Owner and his wife were so genuinely friendly!Brisket is top notch, and I loved how transparent they were about how they cooked their foods. Picture is missing some brisket and the roll because I ate it so fast!
