The Combo Gordo Taco offers spectacular Mexican food that exceeds expectations. From the ham tortas to the fettuccine alfredo, everything is delicious. The breakfast tacos served until 12:30 are a definite plus. The restaurant is clean, well-kept, and offers a variety of dishes at great prices. The dining area is pretty big for a taqueria and it was very clean. The lady working behind the counter was very nice and welcoming. Service was above average. The steak tacos were above average. The Mexican rice was just rice. The house salsa did have a good flavor. All of the breakfast tacos and burritos were delicious. They also offer homemade corn tortillas. Recent visitors mentioned that the tacos, especially the Quesabirria Tacos and Lengua taco, had good flavor and plenty of meat. The place has plenty of sitting room and is very clean inside. Many customers found the food to be hot, quick, and delicious, with yummy chips and salsa. The homemade tortillas and the quality of the food surprised some, especially after trying other places. This is a must-try spot for Mexican cuisine enthusiasts looking for an authentic taste of South Texas.
