HTeaO - Lewisville (Round Grove & Old Orchard)

Everything is fantastic, but my one wish is that they will get 2% milk one day.

Always a treat to visit this location. Friendly service and the tea is the best. I always get the unsweet Georgian peach.

To be fair, it's just not my kind of place. I guess the tea is good, if you like flavoured tea.

Cherry tea is my new favorite. Staff here is so friendly and attentive.

Went in to purchase a tea at 3:22PM. Read the sign out front advertising 1/2 price tea during happy hour.

Made my tea and approached the register. Cashier didn’t apply the discount so I said “oh I thought it was half price?”

She said no, it’s buy one get one now.

I asked why it was advertised as 1/2 price.

She got her manager.

He explained that corporate had changed it to buy one get one.

I said “okay, but your sign still advertises 1/2 price. It’s posted on your building.”

He said “we changed the one out there” and gestured behind him (I assume referring to the drive through?)

I said “okay, but your sign out front says half price. You should honor your posted promotion.”

He refused citing corporate again and asked if the $1.50 was really gonna hurt me.

At that point I walked away from the register and he said “okay buddy!” Mockingly.

I don’t find this to be particularly professional, or welcoming. Despite enjoying the tea I won’t be returning to any HTea0 locations and will make sure my friends and family know this is the way corporate instructs their employees to treat their customers.

Thanks for your time, and maybe just go to McDonald’s or Chick-fil-A or any other place that sells tea to get your next fix!

HTeaO Lewisville is a well-run spot. It’s clean, organized, and offers a huge variety of teas—pretty much something for everyone. The staff has always been kind and efficient during my visits, and everything I’ve tried has been fresh and well-prepared.

That said, it’s just not really my scene. Nothing they’re doing is wrong at all, and I can see why others love it. It just doesn’t hit in a way that makes me want to come back regularly.

Still, the quality and service are there, so it’s a solid 4 stars from me. Definitely worth trying if tea shops are your thing.
