Palapas Seafood Bar is a gem serving up REALLY good food, great atmosphere, and amazing service. Their unique dishes include a mezcal cocktail with jalapeno and cucumber, as well as a camarones cucaracha with shells that are so soft they can be eaten. The Snapper is also a standout dish. The place is very clean, and the food is delicious, prepared to order. This is the best seafood place, Sinaloa style 100% recommended.
The food here is one of the freshest seafood ever tried in the Dallas ft worth area, comparable to coastal cities. They have reasonable pricing. Enjoy a good dozen of blue point oysters, which are delicious and fresh. The fish al mojo de ajo was phenomenal — perfectly seasoned, tender, and infused with a rich garlic flavor. The portion was incredibly generous. The octopus “stranded” was incomparable — tender yet firm, beautifully prepared, and unlike anything else. Both dishes reflected a level of freshness and care. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with an elegant flair. Palapas Seafood is a place where you can enjoy hearty, flavorful seafood that feels both comforting and gourmet. Chips and salsa are yummy. The oysters are so fresh and full of flavor. A fried red snapper was a really big fish. Order the lemonade.
