The breads are quite delicious but service can be hit or miss at this location. They change their rules for their toogoodtogo deals depending on their mood and who’s working that morning. They also take a very very very long time to prep the bread even though I’m the only customer there and I asked them not to reheat or put anything on the bread. It took them such a long time to just put the breads in bags and check me out. If the wait is this bad at 7:30am, I wonder how they run their business during busy times. UPDATE!!! It’s funny how the business owner left a comment accusing me of basically lying when I never said that these things all occurred on the same day as I have visited this location many times in the past. Way to leave an even MORE bitter taste in my mouth. Accusations are definitely not a very smart way to go about a business. So to clarify since I feel I have now been wrongly accused, I visited on many different occasions and every time it has been very very slow service - EVEN WHEN I ASKED THEM NOT TO BAKE THE BREAD AND JUST PUT THEM IN BAGS. Also if they have all this on video then they will also know that I said I WILL ORDER ONCE THE EMPLOYEE CONFIRMS SHE CAN MAKE THE ACCOMMODATION and once she said she cannot I told her that I won’t make the order in this case and on this particular day. SECOND UPDATE!! The owner once again accusing and making uneducated statements :( It wasn’t one time. Also my “special request that causes them to be at a loss and not even cover the raw material cost” was the TAKE OFF TOPPINGS AND GIVE JUST THE PLAIN BREAD. How does whatever the quantity of the offer was MINUS the fancy toppings make you lose money? Who even knows. Anyways folks .. if you get a deal here with a bunch of fancy stuff on it, you better not ask them to take anything off because you’re gonna make them lose money somehow by saving raw materials. shrug* I’m not sure what to even call this behavior from the owner but now it feels like they are just making stuff up instead of actually trying to make things right or resolve a misunderstanding. First time here since moving to Lewisville, got an iced gingerbread latte and an oreo ice cream bun. Everything was well made and service was fast and friendly. I ended up getting another order to go (iced Chai latte and signature bun not pictured) and even the plain bun is delicious by itself. Will definitely be coming back!
