The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the tortillas weren't homemade other than that it was

If you' find yourself hungry in Lexington, Texas, pull over to this mom and pop shop for a vibrant, fresh, and flavorful take on Mexican cuisine. The salsa has a little Texas kick that you'll find addictive. The bowl of pezole is hearty and filling and the mushroom enchiladas did not disappoint. Even the rice is great here, you really can't wrong!

LOved the Shrimp Diabla, chips and salsa. Service was relaxed, but attentive enough. Very convenient to town of Edna and Highway 59.

Pleasant staff. Hidden gem in Lexington, TX. Eaten breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All have been yummy. Prices seem in line with other places, although the appetizer prices are a bit higher. Good red sauce...spiciness level varies slightly but it's tasty. Usually busier at lunch time. They do add surcharge for credit card, but we pay cash.

Great small town option. Prices are steep for the quality of food. I believe it is the only option for Sundays. The service is always great with smiles, but it seems they are understaffed; but then who isnt in this age.
