We have eaten at Agape many times and love the food. We were going to be hosting my family on Sunday, stopped by on Friday, ordered the meat by the pound (chopped brisket, pulled pork and sausage). Heated it up slowly on the grill, everyone loved it.

Wow, outstanding BBQ, and great place. The Ribs and Brisket are right there with any place in ATX. It was raining so could not hang out in the backyard, but will when it is nicer out. Great all the way around and the North Side of ATX is now giving Downtown a run for it’s money on BBQ.

Amazing bbq right here in Liberty Hill! We’ve tried just about everything on the menu and haven’t been disappointed. We’ve also put in a large take out order for a birthday party we hosted at our home. Great quality bbq and sides. The location is nice, lots of open table seating outdoors. Kid friendly. Sometimes they have live music.

Ok, let's start with the realization that Tx barbecue is amazing and in my experience, Tx bbq runs from edible to amazing.Agape is in my top 5 all time. What am experience!Moist brisket, sensational! Tasty, deep smoke ring, fork tender.Turkey is so moist and delicious and a great smoky flavor.Hatch mac-n-cheese actually tasted like chile and was so creamy!Coleslaw was slammin'! Savory and fresh. A perfect complement to the meat.Got to try the pork ribs and had a close your eyes and enjoy the moment, moment. Truly exceptional as is. No sauce needed.And let me tell you about the Pork Belly Burnt Ends. Exceptional, amazing, tender, saucy...just WOW!That I will be back is a foregone conclusion.Best kept secret in Tx barbecue.

Overall this place is lovely. We went around 5:00 on a Saturday evening and we were the only ones there at first. By 6, more people had joined, especially since Joel Tucker Band was playing around 6:30 (right as we were leaving). The open backyard area has ample seating, is wonderful for families + friends to hang without feeling crowded, it has a sand pit and yard-sized Jenga type blocks, there is an axe-throwing "structure" on site which is unique, a small deck where live music artists play, and the inside is a bit small but I assume that's not their main focus.I knocked off a star for service. The girl at the front taking our order, although friendly, may have been newish it seemed as she didn't know the answer to some questions, which is no big deal, but they got our order wrong in two ways- they left out the fruit snacks on the kids meal and the coleslaw on my sandwich. Again, not a huge deal, but with not a huge menu I wouldn't think 2 things would be missed. The food was delicious though, even the sides! Between our friends and us, we ordered and tried a few types of things on the menu, even the deserts, and I'd say it all tasted pretty good. I would would recommend the hatch macaroni, green beans, and any of the meats- they were all moist with great flavor. We will definitely be visiting again!
