I have been coming here for many years and the food is always very good. It can get busy but that is because it is popular.

Beautiful we sat out under the trees listen to The birds. The service was spot and the waiter was friendly and responded to everything we asked him to do.

When Dahlia's is good, it's very good - I just wish they'd be more consistent. On this trip, good service, but the food was meh - and if you're going to have three young men standing around the host stand (how many hosts do you need?), maybe get them to actually DO something, like wipe down the disgustingly sticky menus, refill customer water glasses or something. But we'll keep trying it whenever we're in the area - sometimes the food is outstanding. Wish they had a fruit pie once in awhile, though . . .
Beautiful location. Plus, food and service is unparalleled. They also have great live music on weekends, weather-permitting. Definitely worth a visit!
We arrived about an hour before closing with a large group of 13 and were fully prepared to be turned away—but instead, we were welcomed with smiles and seated quickly. We apologized for the late arrival, but the staff couldn’t have been more kind or accommodating. Their friendly attitude and excellent service made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely outstanding, the restrooms were clean, and the live music was a great touch that made the evening even more enjoyable. Highly recommend—thank you for taking such great care of us!
Hadn’t been to Dahlia Café in probably 10 years and decided we would pop in after church for brunch and unfortunately it was not quite what I had remembered and probably won’t be coming here ever again. The food was bland and unimaginative and they promote “homemade “but nothing tastes homemade. We had asked why there was so much green chili influence on the menu thinking that there was a cool story or someone’s personal background from New Mexico and they couldn’t really explain or articulate why and then shared that there has been new ownership for the past two years and that the owners happened to own Cracker Barrel’s in Austin, which I think says a lot. It might be one of the only family friendly outdoor spots for a meal, but I just don’t think it’s worth your time.
This place was very popular w/lots of families enjoying the good weather, but the food just wasn't very good. Had the meatloaf, okra, mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes. Meatloaf and mac and cheese were really bad. Okra and jalapeno ranch for dipping were good. Mashed potatoes were quite serviceable. Fun eating outside and watching kids run the large back area. Amazing live oaks. Would not return.
We happened upon this spot on our way to the hill country. The atmosphere is cleaver and the food was delicious! This is definitely a place you’ll want to visit!
The sauce on the tilapia dish was overcooked (gritty & separated with an off taste). Fish was good. Service a little on the slow side.

One of the best restaurants I've been to in quite some time. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The floors and tables were legit spotless! The menu is filled with delicious, made-from-scratch options. Their commitment to quality and fresh ingredients shines through in every bite. The service is always top-notch, with friendly staff who go above and beyond to make sure you have a great time. Our waitress was so so nice and attentive which added to the positive time here. To top it off, there's even live music on some weekends, I wasn't gonna see it, but it's still amazing to see and notice! Dahlia's Cafe is a must-visit for anyone craving great food and a welcoming vibe!

Great service. The team was great in seating us. The server Adam was excellent. The food was abismal. Microwaved pork on frozen Sweet potatoes and drenched in uninspired queso. The shrimp and grits, perfectly cooked shrimp. However, the grits were over cooked and the sauce was not good. I enjoy this place but this was such a fail. Went in hungry and left hungry. Great ideas but terrible execution. Sad, my wife and I should have eaten anywhere else. Again the customer service was excellent. The hosts, and server were great. The live band was great and the margaritas were well made.
