Had never tried this location. Because of the construction on 59 had to take a different route home. Usually stop at the Hartz in Cleveland but pleasantly surprised. Top notch food and clean restaurant. Only downside was ice cream machine was down so had to settle for just hot cobbler for desert!

They have done an amazing job at the Hartz in liberty, Texas. Dayton's Hartz has always been mine and my family's favorite for as long as I can remember, well now that liberty has opened theirs and also has the sweet coleslaw recipe as Dayton they have definitely IMPRESSED ME.. THANK U FOR A LOCAL FRANCHISE THAT IS WORTH SPENDING THE MONEY ON

I been hauling a friend vehicle that broke down to my place it took from 9-1pm. I needed to get something to eat, I decided to go through the drive innat Hartz Chicken in Liberty.Big mistake, I ordered 4 piece Chicken strips with okra told them please don't OVER cook the okraI received it ,traveled to my house since I have been on the road 4 hrs. Got settled in to Open the boxTHe orka was OVER COOKEDopen the I side it of the orkra it was fried.The Chicken looked like it been out front on the steam table for sometime, hard as a rock, I was so hungry I wasn't going back I pull as much crust I could get off so total of the four pieces I say I had 2 total to eat. I had never received such poor food from here before......I just wasted my money, energy to drive there. JUST BAD FOOD

I'm typing this as I sit in the drive thru watching.... when you order from the drive thru they shouldn't get the food from the buffet line THATS A BIG FAT NO NO.... if I wanted food people breathed on and played in I would have came in and ate the buffetI'm totally disappointed. Liberty food options are all horrible.

Went drive thru, no line. 10pc mix and 2lg gizzards...... Approx $30!! Chicken was not as done as I like so I went home, put in air fryer for 5 more minutes --- much better! Chicken was to greasy and the moisture inside the box made crust soft and mushy. Last resort!
Food was hot and fresh restaurant was clean everyone was sweet and friendly. Great experience all around.

The only complaint why I didn't give them a 5* , is because they need to put in new thermostat so the food is hot or turn it up, the food gets cold to quick. Other than thatI would give them 5*.
