Went here for Dinner today with my Fiance, The young lady taking orders was incredibly rude. Her name was Yazmin, I dont know her last name. We asked if the grilled chicken sandwich came with anything else on it, she said just chicken and bread. Thats great, my fiance has a dairy allergy. So we place our order and when we eventually got our food my name was called up there. Low and Behold there was our food, Cheese on her Grilled chicken burger. Fantastic. So i say to her 'I didnt know cheese came on it'. She turns to me and with an attitude from hell she says 'You can just take it off right?'. Absolutely not. We left right then and there. Absolutely ridiculous.Edit: Reading through these reviews, Alot of people have an issue with this Yazmin Girl. Not alot of them say a name but just by reading ut and experiencing her, you just know.

We have been long customers of Jax (over 7 years of coming!!), to the point where we drive over an hour and half to get these burgers. Today was mind blowing, and not in a good way. The food here 10/10 stars!! Decently priced, fries on point love all of it. Today when we walked in (after a very long drive from Waco) we were greeted with waiting 5 minutes before someone acknowledged us, to tell us that someone will be right with us. Okay that’s fine! We waited some more, someone different came up and said that someone will be right with us, again fine! Finally someone walked out to take our order, but at that point I had to use the restroom (being 9 months pregnant does that to you) so I told my husband what food I wanted and walked away before he started ordering. When I came back I saw he had gotten us two water cups. I decided to get some sweet tea instead of water, since my husband didn’t know I wanted the sweet tea and there was NO ONE AROUND to make the correction. Anyways we are finishing eating cleaning up our table when the waitress (owner?) who took our order stopped by to collect our plates rudely said ‘When you get up you can come to the front counter and I’ll charge you for the two drinks y’all have been drinking’ again RUDELY. We said no problem as she’s walking away. As we are walking up to the counter she started typing in the drink I told her ‘It’s just one cup, my husband has only been drinking water’ a very snippy ‘okay’ as a reply. Then she turns and looks at us expectingly, we ask her how much it is and she said ‘$3.50’ and we were both shocked at that amount for tea! We gave her a $5 and told her to keep it, when I asked for a big cup since we paid for it. She instead said I can keep filling up my little water cup because I was stealing the tea. And that I had no problem stealing from them. But again NO ONE WAS AROUND for me to get the correct cup. When I asked again for the big cup saying that I paid for it and at least let me get it she turned her back to me and decided to ignore me while saying ‘You’re lucky I didn’t call the cops on you for stealing!’ Ironically my husband tiped $3.50 on the original check, even though there’s no reason to tip because there’s no waitress/waiter waiting on us.Wow. Just wow Jax’s. Was this really worth losing two life long customers of your business? $3.50 that we gladly paid for! Just shocked at this service and attitude!

Went on Sunday with the family and although the space was limited for dine-in, the food was amazing. Recommend the burgers and X-Large onion rings! They have a bar to choose your own toppings. Local restaurant, after one visit is now our favorite burger place near our home.

It is ordered over counter. Hamburgers are great. I love the buffet-style condiments where you build you hamburger as you like it.Parking: Street parking outside on busy street so can be a little tricky to get in a spot

Was shocked at $3.49 for a tea!My Rueben looked amazing and tasted good. Meat seemed a lil tuff for corned beef.Philly cheesesteak tasted more like a French dip. Was offered mushrooms and onions. Nothing said about no peppers as to why it would make a French dip.Nice place to visit when not packed as the atmosphere is definitely casual and relaxing.

We stopped here for dinner after antique shopping. It was our first time visiting. The menu is on the wall when you enter and then continue to walk forward to place your order. I ordered the Diablo with a 1/3lb patty and states comes dressed with fried jalapeño, bacon, pepperjack cheese, and spicy mayo on a jalapeño bun and it was the way i received it. My husband ordered the big dirty, 1/3lb patty and states comes dressed with bacon, guacamole, grilled onions, mushrooms, pico, and cheddar... it was none of that. My husband's order looked just like mine except with guacamole. We didn't complain or let the cashier know. We were tired and starving and didnt want to have to wait for another burger to get cooked and made. We both ordered onion rings with our burgers and fried boudin balls for appetizer. The boudin balls were a bit on the salty side but still good. The onion rings were really good as well. Our burger was delicious. The bun could've used some toasting and would've made it perfect. Overall, not bad, if ever in that area again, i would visit but I'd make sure to have the person taking my order repeat it back to me. We paid $40+ dollars for our meal, the boudin balls, and burgers with onion rings, and 2 regular size fountain drinks, which was kinda pricey to us especially with not getting one of the burgers correct.

Food is good, it's kind of a self serve type place, the location is great right beside the historic court house in Liberty Tx.

Big Dirty is the best burger EVER!! Pico, avocado, grilled onions and mushrooms on homemade jalapeño bun ? ♥ their salads are huge and filling. My daughter loves their mushroom chicken sandwich and handcut fries and my grandma always gets Th Diablo burger with fried jalapeños. Just such great food!

Fresh and friendly! Cute lil place with lovely plants and an old style feel. Very delicious and worth every penny. If you find yourself driving through Liberty like me, skip McDonald's and Whataburger. It was late at night, 30 minutes before they close yet they were very clean and quick. No doubt they will take care of you with a smile!

Some friends bragged about the place, so when we visited the friends, they brought us here. I was apprehensive & begrudgingly drove the 30 minutes.I ordered the cranberry chicken salad sandwich (I wasn't feeling burgers)Omg, it was amazing. I was only able to eat 1/4 of it, so I have leftovers. The onion rings were delicious & I'm told the mushrooms Swiss was wonderful.Coral was awesomeWe will make the 30 minute trek again!
