Fantastic not so hidden gem!!
The grilled shrimp taco and fish taco are unbelievably good! Gumbo is alright but needs something, it's not bad at all, just more robust? They are fairly low sodium here so that might be it. Potato salad works great with the gumbo iykyk! Frozen everything on tap and mud bugs!!! The blackening on the shrimp is custom and tastes incredible. I've worked in liberty for a year but never stopped by until today, WOW!! What a genuinely great place! If you're headed out on 90, this is a don't miss!

First, I wanna say this is the first time I have come here since the name change. The food overall was still pretty good. However, the service was terrible. When we got our salads, we had to wait 10 to 15 minutes to get our silverware my salad bowl in particular was chipped too big chunks on each side where you could see the brown clay under the white porcelain as I was eating my salad I kept tasting grit like sand in my teeth, and when I got near the bottom of the salad, I thought I broke a tooth and when I spit it out, it turned out to be the big chunks that had broken off the chips of the bowl. There were two big chips on the rim of the bowl and the rim is like flat outward so they were pretty good size. At least the size of a dime or more personally I wouldn’t have served a customer a chipped bowl like that to begin with and the fact that the chips were in my salad is disgusting. They’re lucky I didn’t choke on it. Then when we all got our dinner, my friend’s grandson they forgot his tacos. He’s eight years old little kids like plain he ordered two crunchy tacos with beef and cheese and what do they give them cheese with tomatoes and peppers he did not order that he did not want it and he had to wait a good 1015 minutes while we were already eating. The hush puppy should’ve came when our salads came so the kids had something to eat as their appetizer it came with the meal, then near the end of the meal my friend decided to order a second drink, so I joined her now mind you I asked for a sweet tea with lemon with a shot of Tito‘s on the side she brings me a short little glass with the Tito‘s in the tea Then when I ordered it again, and I repeated myself what I wanted for like the first time she brought the same thing again in a little glass then my friend had ordered a small drink to begin with a frozen margarita and they came back. Actually it was a whiskey and Coke and they came back with a great big one then we get the bill and it was around $161. We gave her $200-$100 bills and she said well I can’t change this so in other words this is the rest is my tip we were still gonna tip her regardless because we’re good Christians, however to say that she couldn’t give us the change to force us to give her the entire change Was ridiculous and it was just maneuvering and manipulating, and I don’t think I’ll ever go back to that restaurant again because it seemed to be run by a young bunch of young kids that really aren’t paying attention to what they’re doing nor do they care I think the management needs to get a grab on this to further service others in a better manner

Food for the most part is good but they need to update menu been same for a while. Food is always good no issues there. Some specials would be nice. Every year crawfish prices are the same 29.95 for 3 lbs even when prices are down there’s stays the same. Outside of that great place to eat! Always clean!

The Fried fish was genuinely amazing, I was so surprised on how good it was despite the more rural location of this restaurant but oh my lord it did not disappoint. Live Music from 2 nice older gentlemen was playing as well, really adding to the colorful inside environment. 1000% recommend Tia Juanita’s!

Three people that Bill was just at $100. Service was great atmosphere was great. The food itself was too high in sodium and I did not care for the breading that was on the fish. The shrimp I expected to be a lot larger than what they were considering it was the Shrimp and fish combo so if you don’t want a lot of sodium not the place for you

just left this location with my family. We sat for 12 minutes without any service at all, once we got a server there was no apology for the wait. Everything took forever from there on out. Drinks (7min), apps (15 min) and chips were burnt, food 30+) minutes. There was only 6-8 tables in the building upon our arrival. Besides the chips being burnt, all other food tasted fresh and well. Our server was slightly attentive but not on his ‘A’ game. overall we were very disappointed as we have visited 5 other tia’s locations and never had such an experience :(

Horrible service 30 minutes to get drinks ended up leaving and made us take the appetizer in to go bags and pay for them as we were walking out. Normally good food but won’t be going back for a while. Charged us 70$ for 4 drinks 1 Togo coke and 1 Togo chips and queso.

Love this place. Food is quantity is excellent, food quality is excellent. Probably a 4.8 stars resturant. 5 star would be left for those that are high end which I don't have the money nor the desire to spend the money on. We will continue to visit this establishment.

Customers that came in 30 minutes after us, got their food and left and our food still had not arrived. Spoke to the manager about the time we waited and he really didn’t care.

Very good food. Long a ait time and doesn't allow reservations. Building is long and narrow, with side vent a/c vents blowing from the wall. It was very, very cold, which made it quite uncomfortable and difficult to enjoy the delicious meal that was served.

Parking: Easily accessible. Parking is a large open lot without any guidance or striping.
