La Cocina de Caro offers fantastic, authentic Mexican food. The food is always fresh and delicious, with homemade-like quality. Dishes such as the green enchiladas, bistec a la mexicana, grilled catfish, shrimp, tilapia, fish tacos, chicken tacos, and asada torta are all recommended. The guacamole is on a different level. Portions are right, and the rice and beans taste fresh. Salsas are not too spicy. The service is out of this world and amazingly friendly; customers are immediately treated as family by the ladies who tend to everyone. The clean, fresh food and welcoming atmosphere make this a place to definitely recommend and return to.
