I ran up on this place by accident. I was the only customer there, but it was about 3:30. Fried catfish was pretty good. It was white but had that dirty like mud taste. I drowned it in ketchup. The shrimp, fries, hush puppies and slaw were good. I would go back because I like the atmosphere. I need to go this coming week because I was so busy paying by cash and talking to my nicest server I forgot to tip her. Another customer came in when I was leaving.
Overall great place.. This is our third trip to try the food and we give it four stars… The service is very good. The servers are very attentive and have lots of knowledge about the food… The atmosphere is down home and the setup of the restaurant flows really well.. More than enough space and it looks like they have a large room in the back to hold parties or meetings.. Now let’s talk about the food…The chicken strips on all three visits were terrible…. It’s our second time to eat here and we absolutely loved it! We had appetizers of corn nuggets and crab cakes, chicken and waffles, cheeseburger and fries, catfish with onion rings, Buffalo wings, and three fried pies: coconut, apple and cherry. All were wonderful and our waitress was happy and friendly.
