No consistency. My brothers ckn fried steak was crispy and delicious. Mine was way too much breddind. Minimum 4 times as much batter than meat. Crispy on the outside but doughy gooey on the inside. Very small thin piece of meat on inside. Gravy had way too much pepper to let you taste the rest of the food. I will say I saw some other delicious plates going to other tables. Might try it again but something different.

Have been with my wife twice and we will return. Great food and friendly staff. The manger came to talk to us on our first visit since he didn't recognize us. Food was great both times and they're definitely not stingy on their alcohol. Smoked old fashioned is great and my wife really enjoys their margaritas.

Every time we get the chance to come here, the food is top notch, fresh and delicious! If it’s more than just the two of us we will sit at a table and Deja takes the best care of us!! Highly recommend The Blue Duck!!

Good dinner with excellent chicken fried steak. Veggies sauteed with an excess of butter but they had good texture. Service was great. It was a busy night and the two servers were constantly on the run but ever interaction was courteous and polite. Would go back again.

We had dinner here and the food was delicious, we ordered the steak, chicken fried steak, and the Cajun pasta and was not disappointed. Nice atmosphere, very attentive staff. Our server Charlie was phenomenal. We met the owner Paul, very nice as well. Will recommend to everyone. Definitely try this place if you haven't!

Pre-casino dinner, what a fantastic find! First of all, the baked potato soup was the best I have EVER had, and I’m old! It was just unbelievable. Then I had fried catfish plate, which was excellent- fresh, crisp and not greasy. The red sauce and tartar sauce were made in the kitchen from scratch, outstanding, way to go Chef! Our server was Charlie, who was attentive and friendly, great service. The owner, Paul stopped by to check on how everything went, very nice guy. Wonderful all around.

The new menu items; garlic mussels, red fish and rib-rye were excellent! This is our favorite restaurant in Livingston and they never disappoint. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Their Old Fashioned is the best there is, it's out of this world!!!
