I am so sad doing this but to ba fair i have to. For over a decade this has been my favorite Mexican venue. It's been a trustworthy value, the perfect balance between cost and quality. Unfortunately over the last 2 months that has changed. Sunday night I ordered tacos Monterey. It is my go to order. Always great street style tacos. What I got Sunday was a plate of diced overly dry meat. Beans I will not even grace by calling them charo beans. Green salsa with no flavor and guacamole that looked like... Well like it was made with mayo and mix... Y'all know what we call that. It sure ain't Mexican food or Texmex.
I'm truly sad if anyone has a good place that is close to what this place was a few years ago please HMU!

This place is always great.

I gave this 2 stars because our server was great! I had been here years ago and it was better. I got the papa nachos and barely ate it. The ground beef was not good. Had the texture of canned dog food. The margaritas were ok. We won't be back though.

Very, very good food! Great staff and quiet atmosphere. The crispy taco was very crispy, yet light. The cheese enchilada was yummy, and the shrimp fajita quesadilla was exceptional! The queso was full of good onions and peppers. All around: a very good meal! We'll be back!

Fajita Monterey was so tough we couldn't bite through the meat. Large chunks with no knife to cut them. Very chewy. Never seen fajita meat cut so big.

Hidden behind the car wash, and through another business parking lot. Hard to find but well worth the search. Prompt service, GREAT Real Mexican food, beautiful inside, lots of parking, handicap parking and fixtures inside. But the food is as good as I think it can be. Got the Chicken nachos deluxe to go. You got to try it!! Priced to fit the budget. A bar that I passed on because I was driving, but I will return soon to sample the Margaritas, big ones from what I saw. In

Been going there for years .Always have the same waitress and she is always rude but I try to keep in mind that maybe something is going on at home causing her to be like that but the last time she was down right hateful. I always tip well. I'll never be going back .

I ordered the "chicken breast covered with queso", I received what was equivalent to a child's size portion 'pieces of chicken " cut up......I sent it back.... That's just ridiculous to advertise
A queso covered chicken breast....for 14.00 and received a couple of small pieces of cut up chicken!!! RIP OFF, menu is deceitful...
