I love this place! Usually go for dinner but we stopped in for lunch. I had chicken tenders, cole slaw & fries. Hubby hand the fish & shrimp. Everything was wonderful! Server I think her name is Ashley but really they are all great and feel like friends every time we've ever went. Prices are reasonable, clean and inviting. If you have room for dessert you won't be disappointed.

Florida’s Kitchen in Livingston is a true gem that’s been around for decades, built on family recipes passed down through the years. It’s only open a few days a week, but it’s worth planning a trip. Saturdays are the best—burnt ends and banana pudding as the special—and it’s our favorite day to go.
The burnt ends are packed with flavor, seasoned with Ms. Florida’s own blend that she makes herself, just like everything else in the kitchen. Add in the banana pudding, and you’ve got some of the best down-home cooking you’ll ever find. It was so good it actually brought tears to my eyes the first time.
If you want authentic, soulful food made with love, this is it.
Still the absolute best fried catfish within 100 miles. Plus, excellent beef ribs, and amazing desserts...until they sell out. It's been our go-to place for a great dinner out in Livingston for over 15 years.
