The food is always excellent here. You have a little longer to wait, but it is worth the wait.

I believe the place is called the Southern Peach Steakhouse now.The food we ordered looked like what I would get at Cracker Barrel but tasted much better but still kinda what I expected from like a country cafe. Not really much atmosphere, tables all spread out, pretty good service and everything was reasonably priced with nothing really standing out.I'd probably go back if I was in the Lake Livingston area and try one of their steaks instead of catfish next time.Nice folks and worth a visit if you're in the area or passing through.

Great casual Steakhouse on Highway 59N./ aka i-69 in the growing Lake Livingston area.Been there twice in the last few months, each under different names, thankfully; the Food Remains the Same complimented with friendly service and good food. Ribeye Steaks generously sized 2XL were masterfully grilled & large enough to served my wife & daughter twice more at home. Finally ordered 2 deserts for 4 to share, N.Y. Cheesecake, missed NY by few States; and a Creme Brulee Cheesecake that was acceptable, likely a convenient store bought, defrosted, & reStated. & That's all I have to say about desserts.A notable upgrade, is the downing of card processing cost, previously reassigned as a customer expense & responsibility.Good Food... Great People......Dessert is optional...

We were out here for the weekend. We thought it would be nice to try this place out. Drove all the way out to find out it was CLOSED! They need to update their hours, it was a Sunday and it was definitely CLOSED!

The food was great. Highly recommend the fried pickles and jalapeño ranch dip! Everything was excellent overall. My only complaint is our waitress could have checked on us more often. We finished eating and waited for the ticket for about 10 minutes without seeing her, so I ended up paying at the front.

Stopped for dinner on the way home last night and the staff was so sweet to our birthday girl. Everyone that worked there came by our table and talked to her, told her happy birthday and made her feel so special. One of the waiters was so excited about being able to lead the restaurant in a happy birthday song that he forgot to wait for the rest if the waitstaff to come out lol

Family centric casual dining. This is where the locals go. Price is relatively reasonable; comparatively to local pricing.Service is very cordial and above par. They do have a wine/ beer list. I wine by glass or bottle. The food quality is above industry stand for the area.Food prep was spot in for me. I ordered rib eye, loaded mash, & asparagus.Super tasty❣️

My wife and I stopped in for Sunday brunch after viewing an older Long Branch Steakhouse menu someone posted online. Upon arriving, we learned that restaurant changed ownership and is now called The Southern Peach. They were busy, which is good and after several minutes we were greeted and seated. Our server Alyssa was attentive, friendly, and helpful. The grilled salmon with garlic butter was phenomenal, the slow-cooked green beans absolutely delicious. Abbey, our cook, did an outstanding job. My wife proclaimed her Reuben sandwich to be one of the best she's had. Suggestions: (A) Ditch the carpet ASAP! (B) Offer more than 5 wings for your KETO customer's. (C) Update your website and online presence where the old restaurant name is still listed. Prices seemed fair/competitive.

6 of us Got steak bits. The were burnt. Way over cooked. We've gotten them before and it was really good but not this time. Sweet potatoes were excellent.
