The best place to go for a comfortable meal. freshly made breaded general tso and sweet n sour chicken. the egg foo young is my new favorite dish ! a simple divine flavor that awakens your taste buds.

This place is great! Food is always fresh and the service is great! They check in with you often to make sure you’re doing ok. I’m glad Lockhart has a good Chinese restaurant and I hope they stick around for a long time to come.

Sooo…we were passing through Lockhart on our way home from Austin and wanted some Chinese food.I had my husband order general Taos xtra spicy and when we got home it seemed not much to look at just regular ol Chinese food but the difference was this was the best general Taos I’ve ever tasted anywhere and it’s all I order.It was sweet extra spicy tender inside crispy out.egg rolls and Rangoons were great!highly reccommend and if we pass through again we will be stopping by!please don’t change anything your doing consistency is key when you got a good thing!Thank you so much for the great food

I have been a customer of China Palace for many years. I ordered a meal to be delivered and paid almost $50.00 dollars for a pu pu platter and some sweet and sour chicken. They delivered promptly. When I went to eat my order not only was it cold but the scewered meat and ribs were horrible. They were gamey and unediable. They made me immediately sick. I contacted the owners privately on facebook messagenger not even asking for a refund but to let them know and they just gave me a thumbs up. Sadly they lost a life long customer.

I recommend this restaurant highly. The food is great!!! Service is Great very nice staff. The Owners are super nice. I wish all restaurant would be like this one. Wow!!! I'm a truck driver I will be stopping at this location every time I pass thru Lockhart, TX. From now on this is my favorite restaurant. Go and try it you won't regret it.(CHINA PALACE).

Easily the best chinese food in Lockhart and surrounding areas! My wife and I love the sesame chicken and peppered steak. On top of the incredible food, the service is top notch. You should definitely make this your new go-to restaurant in town!

It's the same old place that I had not been here in years. Restaurant appeared clean and in order. As for the food it's eye appealing as for flavor I should have ordered my veggie stir-fry with garlic sauce maybe that would have given this review another star. Portion not large. Overall its worth coming back. The WOW factor was missing.

The girl who served us was great, but the older Chinese woman was not so good. The food could have been better, you can tell it's not freshly cooked. And read the comments from the owner instead of trying to make it right she argues with people and makes people feel like they are in the wrong what a horrible person. It really sucks they don't have another Chinese restaurant in Lackhart because if they did I believe this place can be shut down.
